The other day i was playing the master of puppets album in D standard and i dunno why but it just feels so much better and like that is how it is meant to be played

Yeah part of me prefers a lot of Metallica songs in a lower tuning, just gives them such a different feel

One of the best things about Metallica is that they were already thousands of times heavier compared to their equivalent bands, even with the standard tuning.
