MbxTreme put out a video earlier today pretty much saying he was unhappy with the stream and had hoped for more fixes or acknowledgements about some of the issues. The comments were kind of brutal, defending GGG on some things. Mbx ended up removing the video this morning. I thought the stream was alright, but mystified Jonathan and Mark were really for the current state of rarity as a mechanic. And I thought it weird that warrior felt fine to them in campaign. It is so slow. Gets interrupted constantly during the wind up attacks. Defences suck. Damage is meh. Then you get to endgame and you can somewhat fix some things while your monk buddy is able to move a bit faster, attack faster, and even attack a bit further away. The ranged classes are already on another map and stopped looking back at you.
The economy problem’s are not from rarity. Take a look at slippery Jims video. The problem is that GGG didnt did add enough into the game to eat up divines. They said they thought we would use them on our gear, but it better to just but an upgrade rather than Div your item. I ran 0% MF for weeks and made plenty of currency. I was able to upgrade to a Trial master shield with Rarity cores, getting to around %250 rarity. It certainly improved currency drops, but it was in no way shape or form broken. I dont drop 6x Divine per map like uninformed people think. I drop about 1x Divine every 3x hours of casual mapping. I’ve never been an MF guy and I probably wont be moving forward. Its not a real problem. People are just echoing the uninformed jargon from streamers. Look at Jim’s video and you’ll know.
thats totally NOT true. divines would not get more expensive if there wasnt a sink for them. if nobody would use divines, they would drop in price. people are using divines on uniques, but nobody is using exalts because crafting sucks. and there is no crafting bench that could eat some exalts.

I to don’t like meta builds also amazed at the majority in end game… still chugging along in act 3 … I have discovered that my totems don’t stun no more and I hit so hard on mace strike It skips the stun bar…it could be a glitch … not sure so my bone shatter basically useless. I’m seeing the boss get dazed, but the indicator is not showing up and when I use bone shatter, I don’t get the uptake of damage. Weird but that’s early access for ya
I know it was a decent interview, but I was really unhappy with all of it. I don't like the direction they're taking with PoE2, and PoE1 it's approaching month what... 8 of Settlers? I have a feeling that come 2026, we'll still be searching for the greatest ARPG of all time, because PoE2 will absolutely not be it, and PoE1 is slowly becoming the red-headed step-child.
Also have to say i had the same experience that after completing the campaign i kinda felt sad because the end game was not something i was hoping for. Decided to roll another character... after that another one... after that i went to SSF and i have now almost 450 hours in the game and i love it :P
The thing is the way they admitted the strongbox and essence system. They literally said is shit 😂. I have never heard to admit something like this from lizzards
i gotta be honest im 350 hours in and the changes dont affect me at all i got the feeling i have seen it al for now as long as there are no new ascendancies and/or classes i tried to play along but at some point it gets senseless tbh ... unfortunatley
I find it hilarious that people are falling into their swords sliting their wrists about the game when it is only at 0.1.0F... 2 months into EA... I think fun means different things to different people... I'm around 100 hours in, 4 characters and didn't even finish Act 3 with any of them and I'm having a blast... And I enjoy my ungha-bungha dual-big stick wielding Titan with all its challenges... Woyld it work in end game? Who knows, I'll probably never make it there because something else will come up in my life... Maybe im just a weirdo when it comes to PoE games...
Kinda same. I like to thinking a lot when I find a new unique and start a fresh char just to play with it's benefits from the start. Mostly ending up in act3 where they really start falling down. But who cares. I have me fun. Expect my galvanic shard merc what I started in day1 and I see most people ended up playing the same thing and melting bosses in t15. I am glad I figured out something from my own 😂
@@AnitaPOE2 Why? Stupid question I know... You kill monsters, you get loot, you get XP... The same in campaign, no? Or is it that the trade is killing the fun of getting loot drops? You have a screen deleting build and running through a map without a challenge?
@JorgenPOE it would be nice to have less affix pressure, open up more builds that don't feel like they're falling behind / missing out But having a rarity build doesn't feel worse to play for having it. Except in my case if it went to chaos res maybe a death or two less
I'd just put Waystones on a vendor until T10 instead of T3, sustain problem gone. If you're struggling with a semi-filled atlas, it's a skill issue, and you should stick to lower tier, but initial low tier sustain did suck even without dying a whole lot, on some maps I'd only get 2 rares. Alternatively some sort of bad luck protection where completing a map should guarantee at least one X and one X+1 waystone. That said, the problem might not even exist anymore, with the buff to small maps.
I'm thinking the PoE2 "league" reset will come in the beginning/mid of Feb. Which will make them push the new league for PoE1 to March or later. It sucks.
Man usually this guy is ok but my god his take on rarity is outta there. He’s up to date on everything thats going on for it to be just flat out knowingly misleading trying to say rarity has anything to do with the economy be shit. No mention of the massive exploits that went on, testing done to show rarity isnt “out of control”, ect. Just some reddit shitpost style. Even the devs you could see were like you gotta be kidding. Omg using 2 pieces of gear to have 50% rarity is going to destroy my build diversity….
This guy here. more currency dropping being linked to quant results in increase currency in market resulting in inflation - this is simple economics. you print more money, the price of goods goes up. This printing process is rarity and it is noticable when you play rarity v non rarity.
i heard it more that they want earlier maps to feel like a stepping from the campaign into late endgame becoming close to the PoE 1 level of zoom zoom ; and I'm ok with that. ARPG needs to eventually hit that 'fantasy' of i can wipe the screen and the thought of having the level of focus you need in the campaign forever was too much IMO . good to know this is actually their intent now
If it stays zoom zoom brain dead screen wipe then that'll be really unfortunate. Such a waste of all the monster design, telegraphs, etc. if mobs just get deleted by the player sneezing on them
@guitaraholic disagree. It does not NEED to get to insane crazy epileptic levels of POE1. It can be it's own thing. Faster than campaign, but way less than ice monk herald crazy or crack gemling
My god it the endgame plays like the campaign you get no power progression this infinite mapping becomes the biggest chore in the world. I don’t wanna be white knuckling through every map that’s just exhausting
@@JorgenPOE i hope so to. sometimes it feels like the poe2 dev team didnt talk with the poe1 dev team for a long time. they put some bad things in poe2 again that were already solved in poe in recent years.
I absolutely hope they don't make the zoom zoom in game. I've watched people playing The end game one button pushing destroying the entire screen and running forward.Do it again.Wash rinse repeat bullshit . Looks boring as It can get to me. The best part about This game is the Dodge rolling. The trying to escape from the bosses the attacks. The difficulty in act, one, the first time you played it.That was the best part of the whole game. I would Take more of that all day long as opposed to 1 button mashing running
Honest take, act 1-3 is trash and it's the same struggle in Poe 1 except without dodge roll. That's not what Poe is about. Endgame map blasting is fun and we play for the rewards, most players don't want to slog through a game after a long day at work and get nowhere, I wanna blast through to get loot and power up. The game will move closer to Poe 1 in time and I'm here for it.
@JorgenPOE I guess I mean I work almost 50 hours a week and I don't wanna mind numbingly zombie brained one button Mash play a game but I guess (each to his own) I'm pretty sure D4 is exactly that, which is why I didn't bother. For the old guard like me.The best game since D2 was diablo 2 resurrected.. lol
What are you even asking for? Do you think the hordes of white and blue monsters should be single boss fights? You absolutely should be blasting regular monsters. If you want long meaningful boss fights, fine I get that but this idea that there shouldn't be any blasting at all and every single monster should be a slow boss fight is just dumb as fuck. You are describing games that are not arpgs. Stop trying to turn arpgs into something they are not.
I’m with you. GGG restored my faith with this announcement. Addressed a number of issues I had and were smart enough to not drop the nerf hammer until they are at a point to do a new league start. Edit: I’m currently running a Gemling LS triple herald build with Three Dragons and Painted Servant. The change to Painted servant will be very welcome
Considering the game released and the devs went on holiday and all the crazy smart people who play this game im surprised we didn't wreck it worse. For a Christmas EA start it went pretty well. The QnA on tavern talk afterwards was great. Stay filthy
Talk about giving a guy an inch & him taking a mile. Yeah there were a few over tuned mobs. It is not near enough to explain what I saw watching you play.

Been playing poe 1 for over a decade now. Im tired from poe in general. I hoped poe 2 would be breath of fresh air.. but nah. Its not it. So i really hope Titan quest 2 will be banger.
If mf didnt affect currency Mf can stay as a commodity, not as a "must" imo Especially if GGG reduce loot drops as they introduce leagues, to get away from poe 1 loot drops
@JorgenPOE imo, the problem with poe 1 is the quantity of useless items that drop and the ability for us to ignore what is on it via scouring orb In poe 2, they intentionally removed scouring orbs to make items drops more meaningful since we don't get loot explosions If that makes sense
Rarity gear is fine. The problem right now is you need it to get decent drops. They just need to buff base rarity so that mf gear is an option and not requirement.
@@metallicafan416well currently it’s required to run rarity just to get currency so everyone is forced into one build… I say take it off gear, buff base currency drop slightly, and make rarity stats a chase item in the endgame
@metallicafan416 not necessarily. If the baseline drops are fine, there should be no issue in having the option to sacrifice power for more MF. The big problem is that baseline drop rates are bad which forces you to use MF.
Rarity is linked to quant which correlates to current drop rates. This needs to be removed and then things will be fine. Right now it isn't fine. Feels bad with anything less than 60 percent rarity from my testing
@JorgenPOE totally agree, right now it's scuffed. However, I do think MF does have a place in PoE2 just like how it is in poe1. Removing it entirely is also not the answer
The rarity thing is, the bottom line is it’s just not an issue. Like all due respect we have the stats, this has been studied to death, people have killed THOUSANDS of monsters, rarity is fine. There’s no need to “defend” rarity, the stat is just not an issue. The numbers are in and numbers don’t lie. There’s a “perceived” issue that doesent exist.
I agree,I think the problem is people in trade are mad because mf% is effecting the market and people in ssf love mf% being high so they can actually get currency because I'm telling you I played for 3 hours yesterday and didn't get 1 exalt and I have 22% rarity
Oh I don't think you realize my position now, you can GTFO my channel. Plenty of yes men out there. But I'm not whining, because the devs are in agreement with my position. Have nice day 😉

The ranged classes are already on another map and stopped looking back at you.
When is the druid being released?
Likely next big content update in a month or so
The economy problem’s are not from rarity.
Slippy Jim is cope. It's totally effected my currency drops rates at higher quantities levels based on how rarity scales currency quant.
Why is this the only video that isn't mostly glaze. Like, EA / beta is precisely when feedback is neefed. They already got their revenue infusion.
There's so much "little" things in the patch that are big changes! Good patch inc!! They have listened... i respect that. Also i like how they listened and are open to changes and want the majority of players to be happy about the game.
If they up currency especially exalts by like 50% then maybe we can survive with no MF%
Endgame systems and gameplay loops needs to be reworked. Waiting
You got a new sub dude. I appreciate the honesty, and not the ball washing we get from some other creators. Valid criticism is not "negativity" and is needed to improve the games we enjoy.
Good morning everybody from the US, enjoying this channel due to its maturity.
My biggest problem atm is uniques, i should feel exited when finding one not walking past it.
Without criticism, nothing improves.
Also have to say i had the same experience that after completing the campaign i kinda felt sad because the end game was not something i was hoping for. Decided to roll another character... after that another one... after that i went to SSF and i have now almost 450 hours in the game and i love it :P
Keep up the good takes brother! 😎👍
I leveled a BS warmonger to 90 I feel your pain brother 😂
Good changes but waiting on the real patch when they add more chars.
I love POE and will sit back and relax untill they make a few more changes to the game. Maybe next economy reset.
People are either brainwashed or gaslighted. No one is allowed to be neutral 😅
I am glad I figured out something from my own 😂
Thats the thing, you didnt progress to the part of the game thats boring as hell. The campaign IS great, but endgame is horrible atm
I'll do some fringe builds down the road just seeing how far I can go with it
@@AnitaPOE2 Why? Stupid question I know... You kill monsters, you get loot, you get XP... The same in campaign, no?
Or is it that the trade is killing the fun of getting loot drops?
You have a screen deleting build and running through a map without a challenge?
Would need to define "doesn't work" and to say people are for it are "wrong", what are they wrong about
Not gonna mince words, plays like shit.
@JorgenPOE it would be nice to have less affix pressure, open up more builds that don't feel like they're falling behind / missing out
But having a rarity build doesn't feel worse to play for having it.
There's no skill issue.
I bet the league comes out in March not feb
I'm thinking the PoE2 "league" reset will come in the beginning/mid of Feb. Which will make them push the new league for PoE1 to March or later. It sucks.
Thanks for condensing it mate, nice take as always. WARRIOR COME OUT PLAAAAYEEEAAAA
Gimme more character balance
I'm glad you're feeling good about the announced changes hopefully they continue.
Yeah man, I think we'll see a shift to what Poe is about and that isn't dark souls.
If endgame gameplay becomes zoom zoom then it's really no different from Diablo. Brain dead gameplay with no strategy, positioning, etc.
It's already zoom zoom. It needs to be tuned back, but it should play like the campaign
i heard it more that they want earlier maps to feel like a stepping from the campaign into late endgame becoming close to the PoE 1 level of zoom zoom ; and I'm ok with that.
I don’t wanna be white knuckling through every map that’s just exhausting
i feel like they are completely out of touch with the game on some things sadly
This game me hope that they realize that to
@@JorgenPOE i hope so to. sometimes it feels like the poe2 dev team didnt talk with the poe1 dev team for a long time. they put some bad things in poe2 again that were already solved in poe in recent years.
@pimpinzsoez I didn't ask....I just said "I hope" .
Ileft poe2, just waiting till it gets better
My body is ready for an economy reset
Literally nothing to make me want to play
Biggest thing for me is WASD. Absolutely love it!
What's D4? :)
I'm convinced you and your entire audience missed every interview, Jonathan said that they intended people to be able to zoom at endgame in poe2
I watched it. They don't want Poe 1 levels of zoom.
Idk, Mark sounded pretty fucking disgruntled talking about people's builds blasting in maps.
👍
6:30 honestly Diablo 4 has become a very good game after the year of improvements to it. I’m very excited to be able to play both poe2 and Diablo 4 this year.
Mate, have you considered getting good?
Been playing poe 1 for over a decade now. Im tired from poe in general. I hoped poe 2 would be breath of fresh air.. but nah. Its not it. So i really hope Titan quest 2 will be banger.
Same here, massive fan of POE and GGG, couple thousand hours in. But poe2 is just a disappointment
If mf didnt affect currency
Mf can stay as a commodity, not as a "must" imo
Especially if GGG reduce loot drops as they introduce leagues, to get away from poe 1 loot drops
This is why they changed it in Poe 1 originally. Magic fund should effect items, no exalt drops
@JorgenPOE imo, the problem with poe 1 is the quantity of useless items that drop and the ability for us to ignore what is on it via scouring orb
In poe 2, they intentionally removed scouring orbs to make items drops more meaningful since we don't get loot explosions
If that makes sense
Nobody but you elitists even care people like me in ssf that don't trade have no problem with mf rarity, even ggg agrees with me.
Awesome video
Why they nerf Silverfist he’s okay. I got 3 char beat he’s ass during the campaign pretty easy. Darn these people doesn’t know how to dodge really..😂
Rarity gear is fine. The problem right now is you need it to get decent drops. They just need to buff base rarity so that mf gear is an option and not requirement.
If it's buffed on everything it serves no purpose
6:29 🤣😂😂
rarity is fine, wtf is ppl's problem with rarity?
It's not. It's noticeably not
@@JorgenPOE whats the issue?
Over 70% of the player base never get exalts to drop,so we need MF% to be high so we can compete in ssf
If the base drop rate is increased this isn't an issue
I agree,I think the problem is people in trade are mad because mf% is effecting the market and people in ssf love mf% being high so they can actually get currency because I'm telling you I played for 3 hours yesterday and didn't get 1 exalt and I have 22% rarity
The patch dropped this morning
Nice
there is no issue with rarity. just put it on or dont
It effects currency drop quant, massive issue.
Oh naur! I love hearing an Aussie whine for half an hour, it makes my morning!
Oh I don't think you realize my position now, you can GTFO my channel. Plenty of yes men out there. But I'm not whining, because the devs are in agreement with my position. Have nice day 😉
@@JorgenPOE Oh naur! I thought Aussies had a good sense of humour!
Nobody but you elitists even care people like me in ssf that don't trade have no problem with mf rarity, even ggg agrees with me.
Yep. We don't care, because we want fun. Play ssf all you want, the bulk of players are in trade
