I thought I would see if I can get this question answered here. Nowhere in the UI can I find the figure for "funds available". I can see "cash on hand" but that includes funds locked up by open orders. I want to know how much cash I have available for new orders. Money locked up by open orders is NOT available. If there was a separate figure for "total open orders" I could calculate the amount available but that figure can't be found either.
Good for day trading when linked to DAS. For investment I prefer Etrade, I don't ned the speed and it has no fees or commissions for equity investment.
Does IBKR have a DRIP plan or you should reinvest dividends manually? And do you receive a notification for dividends and are they mentioned on a certain page so you can keep track of it?
Hi! I'm a foreigner and currently 17 years old. I want to start my investing career as yearly as possible. Do you know what are the age restriction for IB (I'm from Kyrgyzstan)?
Thanks for the video! The content is very good! I have a question and perhaps you or someone else can help me. How can use the dividends received? I'm not seeing them in the cash portfolio neither I'm able to use them to buy new stocks.
I absolutely recommend Mr Mathew Doman to new traders who are struggling to make profit out of their crypto investment I was once in that situation until I met Mr Mathew who in fact changed my life I began making good profits out of my traders till date best trader I know
TD Ameritrade just informed me that they will longer maintain South African Accounts (amoung other countries) so the fee elimination on IB is a good thing for sure as i really liked the way IB does things...
Hi there! Do you know if you can buy Cryto currencies with IB? If not, do they offer GBTC? Is it difficult to send money from IB to an account at Coin Base?
Hello. I made an account on IB. I am from Austria. So we have Euro. I want to daytrade the Micro Nasdaq Future. Do I should trade in EURO or in Dollar. I transfered my money in EUR to IB. But can I trade now with this or schould I change the money to dollar? Thanks in advance.
I want to invest in etf's with an isa but interactive brokers don't offer isa's. Can I open a stocks and shares isa at for example my bank and connect it to interactive brokers. Pls reply and love the video
Hey man, great video as always! Between IBKR Pro and IBKR Lite, which one would you recommend? Am personally drawn to lite because of the 0 commission fees and the fact that I probably won't be using much of the advanced tools, but nonetheless would be good to hear your opinion as well. Thanks a bunch! :)

There are two apps IBKR

Which one?

Ahhh ok. Don’t have access to etrade outside of the US :)
IB HK does not have SIPC protection

Hi Aizjh, IBKR, and typically all other brokerages allow you to use their services at 18 years of age.
I think zero commission means a higher spread. I rather pay the commission than paying fishy hidden costs.
Haha that's definitely a possible scenario, I've experienced it a bit too
Thanks for including the written script in the description!
No problem! Glad you liked it
@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia it's really a good thing. However, your English can be understood quite well. Where are you from?
With IBKR are you buying the underlying stocks or a CFD?
Thanks for the video! The content is very good!
I have a question and perhaps you or someone else can help me. How can use the dividends received?
I'm not seeing them in the cash portfolio neither I'm able to use them to buy new stocks.
No problem! Think it should go to your cash balance though. Probably best to check with them
I think you should consider about the tiered pricing with more cheaper fee, as long as the trading volume is not huge

In my opinion, you should change it to USD. That’s what I do anyway

What's the difference between this and say, etoro? Which is better for Malaysians?
Depends on your needs actually. Etoro is a lot more user friendly and targeting beginners. IB is more established and advanced :)
@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia agree with author
Too many adds… couldn’t watch the videos

@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought IBKR Lite is only open to US citizens & not for non-US citizens?
@@richardlong1148 true, as of now lite version is only for the residents as you have mentioned
Can you do OTCs is the question?
