- Thomas Dahill joined the Army Air Corps in 1943, shortly after graduating from Arlington High School. He eventually became a navigator on a B-24, and was sent to the Philippines and New Guinea. He would fly 45 missions, including one that would be the longest trip ever made by a B-24.
This gentleman was very articulate, and long with his good memory make his interview worth watching.
So, because he was in Alabama?
Too bad the gentleman has a negative attitude toward Southern people based on his being robbed of items from his personal trunk while in the South.
He must know that in the service people from states all across the country serve next to one another without regard to geography.
Most likely someone he knew
This man seems to have an attitude about many things. I would probably enjoy hearing his war stories, but as a long term friendship.....no thank you!
Southern Charm.
What a halting disjointed story
Well he is around 94 years old in this interview...
Why do you keep deleting my comments he is a bigoted son of a bitch so fuc him and his yankee superiority
