I love when guys get choked up and nervous when they meet Dave. Kids heart rate was exploding. It's not the intimidation thing, but a chance for you to show the world you can compete with the best of the best for pizzas and a moment for you to be proud of forever if he likes it. Pizza makers are just ants on a farm putting in hard work as there are tens of thousands of them and this is their moment and it's really cool to witness. Not sure lots of people realize how much work goes into these types of businesses sometimes. Those 2 brothers will be able to brag about this moment as long as their business exists. This was a great one.

I have a soft spot in my heart after seeing the sacrifices they made and the amount of hours it took for them just to survive. An owner of a SUCCESSFUL pizza joint is usually going to be someone who is hands-on and putting in 60-70 hours a week.
I remember when they were just babies coming in with their mom. Awesome to see them take over. I miss Franks I might have to make an 8hr drive soon just for the pizza.

I worked at franks for over a year as a teen, I’ve now been forward deployed in Japan for 3 years. My one and only time back in Baltimore I had to stop here on my way home from the airport, great food and greater people!
Went there today, phenomenal, and since the review the line is literally out the door! One hour wait and another hour for 5 pies and 5 cheese steaks, it was delicious! We wanted to try a El Presidente review in Baltimore and bought it to review for ourselves for all us in our warehouse, definitely top pizzas and cheesesteaks we've tried 😋
As the son of a former pizzeria owner/operator back in the day and the dad of a special needs kid-this entire story really hit me. I love that this is giving this family an amazing platform to tell their stories and show the world how good their products are. Will definitely be making the drive to Franks soon.

Been getting Franks since the early 90s. Every Friday night my late step-dad would take us to get Franks and a couple rentals from A-1 Video that used to be in the same strip mall. Also used to go to ET Karate also in the same strip mall back in the day. Franks is amazing, way to represent Baltimore!

I used to live really close to Franks'. Probably my second favorite Pizza to Pasta Mista in Baltimore. My wife and I would always get their Mediterrano Pasta dish. I hope that is still on the menu these days. It was Shrimp, scallops and crab meat in a pink sauce over linguini or fettuccini. I have to get there soon now. The place was always welcoming. I saw a brief glimpse of his dad who I think was running it when I visited. (About 20 years ago) There was another relative who I'd see regularly that was awesome. If I didn't visit for a while, he'd always says, where've you been?" This family is really good to their customers.
The vibes from this place is just so wholesome and genuine. Every character in there feels like part of a family. That's a place I would want to support and eat at even if the food wasn't good. And this pie looks NICE!

I used to live across the street on Forestview, late 90's early 2000's when Armondo, Howard and Sal were there. It is heart warming to see Armondo in the clip... The Refugio was my favorite there.
I know 1 of the times was at Glide Pizza in Atlanta. But there is another time it happened with a woman that was even funnier. But I can't remember that review name and it's driving my nuts.

This place is a local institution. There are nights when you can't find a parking spot. People eat here on the regular. This is a known cop hangout. If you've never been here you are missing out. Great comfort food and family owned. Never a bad meal and reasonable prices.
TY for visiting Frank's! We've been going to Frank's for 25 years; their father Armando also told us about his brother Frank early on. Such respect. Was there with a friend 2 days ago and tried the rib-eye cheese steak, which was as great as Portnoy said (though I'd give it a 10 with that added Cooper sauce).😋

Amazing! Bcuz of this video we traveled 1 hour to support Franks. While there, we met both son, father and Mikey! Further, my MIL and Jerry’s dad (Armando) started talking and figure out they grew up minutes from each other in Naples, Italy!! 😳

Franks and Capri in Glen Burnie is pretty good too. We have some good places but Maryland isn’t really talked about on our pizza game.

I know 1 of the times was at Glide Pizza in Atlanta. But there is another time it happened with a woman that was even funnier. But I can't remember that review name and it's driving my nuts.
Getting that nervous and coming outside to tell that story shows you how much he cares about the restaurant and the food they’re putting out. What a great place and review! He’ll only improve the food from here…Can’t wait to visit!

This place is a local institution. There are nights when you can't find a parking spot. People eat here on the regular. This is a known cop hangout. If you've never been here you are missing out. Great comfort food and family owned. Never a bad meal and reasonable prices.

Was there with a friend 2 days ago and tried the rib-eye cheese steak, which was as great as Portnoy said (though I'd give it a 10 with that added Cooper sauce).😋

Amazing! Bcuz of this video we traveled 1 hour to support Franks. While there, we met both son, father and Mikey! Further, my MIL and Jerry’s dad (Armando) started talking and figure out they grew up minutes from each other in Naples, Italy!! 😳

Franks hands down the best in Bmore. Been going there all my life. Blessing and a curse Dave going there cause they are going to blow up. But wish those guys the best. Good food, good people, good prices
