Great interview! A Friday treat. Thank you from an Oregonian/ Orangutans make those kind of whoops I learned. Sounds like the Bigfoots on our property.
Eugene Oregon girl here! Thank you for sharing your story. My guy had an experience up the Mckenzie River. He also walked into a "bubble" his screams couldn't be heard from his friend at camp just 20 ft away.
have been horsecrazy all my life , have had 1 long sighting, 4- 5 minutes summer of 1970, in july. was traveling with 2 horses, crossing idaho near Craters of the Moon. wide open country, it wasn't close but it was easy to tell it was huge, it had the long arm swing and was really traveling, but not running. we decided we'd stop until it got closer when we came around a curve in road then it was coming towards us. when we got to where the wind was blowing towards us from it both horses started screaming and throwing themselves around in the trailer so bad we could barely keep the truck on the road at 35 to 40 mph. we decided it was best to keep going. a few miles further we saw a parking lot with a booth and several parked cars. we stopped to tell them about the { grizzly bear we saw} we were informed griz do not travel on hind legs. the man informed us we'd seen a sasquatch. said that people stopped in about 1 or 2 times per week all summer telling about the huge critter they'd seen. have had other things happen thru the years but that was the only sighting. thanks for reading . alice i 'm not computer savvy so?
My friend and I were growled at by what sounded like giant monsters on separate forks of a logging road while walking in to dove hunt in central Louisiana in the late 1970s on Bodcaw Road in LaSalle Parish near Belah. I felt the sound. We never went back and that was the only time I had ever walked on this road. I`ve camped alone deep in these woods and swamps for days in a row, ran long trap lines, walked miles in the woods hunting, hunted arrowheads and fossils on creeks, hunted for old home sites and bottles in remote areas, metal detected, fished all night, and I have never heard anything like this.
I lived in Leaburg, OR on my brother's blueberry farm on the Mckenzie River in August 1978 when my niece was born. I ate at Ike's. I was 19. I never thought about Bigfoot back then.
@@jannythewonderwomen2215 it is just a couple of buildings on the Mckenzie River. There is a sign for it. You will love the river however it burned completely a-few years ago. Go east out of Springfield.
Another amazing post! Just found your podcasts recently. The metallic sliding sound is heard by many and they say it could be a portal opening to let in harry men/dogmen other cryptids. So jealous of you owning property for so many years! Best, from Colorado!
Just took time off to go to Oakridge and hang out with you all. I like on the other side of the mountains in the Mckenzie river valley. I live about half way between eugene and sisters. Hope I get to meet you, got a few encounters to tell you about. I know of encounters all over these mountains between the Mckenzie river valley and Oakridge. Just found your channel and I love it. Could even go camping while your here. Possibly even have your own encounter.
I am curious if Brad ever became aware that after Mt. St. Helens erupted , there was a team sent in to provide trauma care , transport , and search efforts for the many sasquatch affected .
Sounds credible to me !! I’ve spent a lot of time in the mountains even worked up there for a few years up pretty high in the mountains northeast of Detroit Oregon above brightenbush hot spring setting chokers and building logging roads . I’ve spent a lot of time from the time I was about 16 running around west side of the mountains and never saw a bear or a cougar so I’m sure there could be big foot out there. Snow peak area up above Jordan Oregon would be a likely place for big foot. I wish I could meet up with some one who knows how to find them in my area.im 65 now and probably won’t ever hear one or see one.
Eugene mushroom hunter here. Still have not had an encounter. Once I did have something throw a huge rock in the middle of a river I was camping next to in the middle of the night just south of oakridge behind Hill Creek Reservoir while camping alone. No way a rock could have rolled down any hill to do that. It was completely flat. But that’s all I got.
I really think there are big foot it makes sinse to me . Most of the time when I’m in the mountains I’m with some one usually one or both of my boys and we are talking and making noise and stuff. Can any body give me any advise on how to see one or hear one? Is it good to sneak around quietly with binoculars or sit looking down in a canyon from a high vantage point with binoculars or what ? Is Tree knocking a good idea?Any listeners have any good ideas for me ?
Eugene grandma here. Keep those podcasts coming

Greetings from Springfield Oregon! Thanks for giving your account. 🙂
My first inconclusive sighting in the late 80s was in this general area

I thought I have been to every little town and bump in the road in Oregon. So will have to find this one.
