Idk if my era growing up, but regardless of new cars, I find these years of z06, 03-04 Cobras, 3 valve Mustangs, LS2 GTOs, etc… golden era of sound function, and affordability. People can have the new mid engine Z06 I can never afford. This right here is pure heaven to me! LS’s and Modular fords over everything
Same dude those are all amazing cars. Even the 3V 4.6. Had a very nice unique sound too it and luckily the mustangs with those were pretty light compared to todays. Just needed a better ratio for 3rd gear and more aggressive rear end
@@tbtedi8426this is a NA car, for every 1 Subaru that can beat this NATURALLY ASPIRATED CAR there are TEN Vettes with forced induction that'll make that Subaru look like its going in reverse. (1000whp+) you boost a 4 cylinder great you can compete with a NA v8. You boost a v8, v12, game over.

@roberthutchison8416 it's a c6z kid, it has adequate brakes to stop anytime it "runs out of road" and it can also take a curve at a high speed... it's not a muscle car it's an actual sports car you don't just run out of road in a c6z like you would run out of road in a big boat of a car with more hp than it needs

I had just gotten the magnum-f for my gto with the short gear ratio. I thought the worst but it ended up being the best and 2nd....... yeah, that will take you to 80, I was so shocked, and 3rd all the way to around 7k would be around 115. I got a couple of pulls of the car on my channel but sadly, tragedy came and ended my build and could've ended my life. If you want the most out of your rpms with the goat. Go magnum f. I was pushing over 500wheel but i'm sure with whatever mods you have done it'll be the best upgrade you do for the money and future of your build

The Z06's ability to climb a speedo and tach simultaneously like that has always amazed me.
Its cause it's not some shit kicker Subaru that revs to 6,000 with short gears and no power that you're used to driving.

This was a very mild blower cam spec'd by PRT. I forget the exact spec's but it worked NA and for a FI setup too

You running a 40w? Thats more oil pressure that most c6z's see. Maybe it's very cold out?
yes my tolerances called for a 20w50 so I run that in VR1 conventional. my idle pressure is 26-30psi and as you see in the video
