I respect for the dude that even bothered to text his father to let him know about his son, if his found out he could be in deep trouble but he still took the chance to do the good deed, and not only that his also told him that their was no security their keeping watch, and other flaws plus told them about the cctv cameras and he can get evidence and he has a case on the prison system, so enough respect to him!!!!!

During my first state bid a guy beat his celly to death with a small plug in radio, overnight. We woke up for chow and that cell door was wide open with blood everywhere. Another time a guy convinced his celly to let him tie him up cause he wanted to get transferred. The cellmate actually fell for that bs and he ended up getting beat up all night until breakfast, he was close to dying.

I grew up in Los Angeles and from an early age set out to live a life of crime. That was my career choice. I knew that I would eventually get pinched and go to prison, I was not naive. Being white, I did not want to be in LA county jail so I moved to Orange County specifically to avoid LA county. Over the years I was indeed arrested several times. I was in those interrogation rooms many times. I was on law enforcement radar and I knew it. I had 2 criminal trials (not guilty on both) and was facing a third. I did not want to push my luck so I pled out on that third one. I lucked out and never spent more than 5 days in county jail. I was very lucky. I am completely retired from that life ( I just turned 59) and have not been active in about ten years and the statute has run out on all of crimes so it is unlikely I will get locked up. I find these prison videos very interesting since I fully believed I would be doing a prison bid sooner or later. By the way, my crimes were white collar in nature. I also was involved in growing marijuana before it became legal. While I did plan out my crimes, I was lucky.

I remember the 1st time I was ever arrested, the 1st time I was ever in jail. I was there for 2 weeks with the same cell mate. I thought I was getting released on the 14th day & it came a passed. Well I started getting a little pissed off & my cell mate let me know to cut the shit. Put it in perspective for me. At least you know your going home soon, shit I ain't getting outta here for years man.

So true! I had been in county for a little under 6 months and my release date came and went and just like u..I wasn’t happy and was letting people know it. A girl a couple cells down from me, a girl I still talk too to this day thru letters and visits, took me aside and with quiet sternness reminded me the same thing-“ayo check it Ma, I’m NEVER going home. And there’s others in here who won’t be going home for a LONG time. You’ll be going home any day.”

That happened my first time down too. Was in open dorm style. Was supposed to get on house arrest and I was sitting in the day area asking a buddy how release worked. The rep for the blacks a nice dude named Mississippi checked me and said be careful talking about leaving before someone makes you leave on a stretcher.
I never even thought about it like that but most people in my block had 5X my time or more.

they will stop a fight if they have too & if they are near.
But their main job is to make sure your ASS doesn't ESCAPE! and you do your time.
You don't need much intellect to open cell doors or to pass a tray of
food to an inmate. that's why their salaries are low & they become corrupted.
in '95 I did a stretch, & I asked God if I come out alive, I will walk that straight path.
I kept my promise to God 🙏. So, stop the BS & live right. you might not get a 2nd. chance.

Never did any hard time but been arrested a few and ran the streets up to no good, nobody cared where I was or what I was doing but I have 2 sons now and at 17 and 20 I’m proud to say they have NEVER known that life or been in any trouble. I have worked with a company that supposedly looks into DOC issues….. sadly they dont. One of the companies i cannot name but their initials are C.C. Let me tell you all when you have a loved one on the inside . You literally are fighting for their life on your own. These prisons are run for profit. They dont care about you or your loved one. The only way to get them to listen is to get a really really good attorney who ONLY deals with prison abuse etc. otherwise you dont really have any recourse. They do not care about you. They do not care about your family they do not care about anything other than keeping your loved on behind bars. Thats how they make their money. The cops are not your friends the judge NO ONEin the system that serves the machine is on your side. NEVER EVER EVER trust ANYONE in the “justice” system they all know each other and you arent in their club remember that

Dude could've delivered the news a little differently imo. Reminds me of the time I was locked up and another inmate with the same first and last name as me had a sister pass away... but they came to my cell and told me it was my sister. The deputy opens my cell for free time like "are u (first name last name)?" And I'm like "yeah." And without missing a beat he says " your sister is dead. The chaplain will be here to see u shortly." All monotone and void of any empathy. So I'm like "cool, but what's the chaplain gotta do with any of this?" He says "your sister died." I said "yeah, u mentioned that already. Why do I need a chaplain? Is he gonna hook me up with a snickers bar or a phone call home?" The deputy say negative so I tell him to let the chaplain know I won't be needing his services. As u might've guessed, me and my sister ain't very close
