- For this video I tried something a little different, and sought to bring you along in first person perspective on a morel hunt in the beautiful foothills of WNC.. I hope that this format may help some of my novice viewers to become more familiar with the kinds of habitat, as well as the growth habits of these most vexing of fungi.. please let me know if you enjoy this type of video and I'll do my best to make more first person content.. Great advice and showing exactly where your at and what you’re getting. I’m terrible at the trees. I’d be great if you gave a quit look at leaf of the tulip poplars and whatnot. Or not lol. Still an awesome view into exactly what you are doing to obtain them. Thanks a bunch 👍😎

The fuckin ticks are creeping me out though lol. Do you just check your whole naked body afterwards or use some good spray? Any of your experiences with ticks just lately I’d appreciate
yes I take a shower and check myself over very carefully. I do get the random tick bite occasionally and always save the tick just in case i need to have it tested. it's one of the unfortunate realities of being a forager..
