Fished that same swim last year, silt is unreal, 20+ wraps the silt was not as bad, but I tried wadding up the margin and got stuck as it was so deep. Lovely lake. You can fish straight across from you but that is not an easy journey.
Just brought some of these Gemini Flourocarbon 45lb leaders question is do you have to steam the leaders before hand as they are coiled up in the packet .
I used to love there tackle untill I started getting hook pulls and leaders breaking on the knots I threw everything away each to there own I guess I’ve gone over to the Korda ones now
