Lovely rig. Not sure why people are complaining that this kind of rig has been around for years. So what! There are new anglers all the time who will benefit from seeing this tied.
Outstanding little trick, never thought of using a bait needle and floss on maggots
Good video guys, for people that struggle with albright knot, you can krimp it just as effective.
it seems everyone's on this rig this year, apart from me. But this video explains how to set it up. Nice work.
Thanks. Glad you found it useful :)
Great info, I tried this rig and got it all wrong. This makes it miles easier, Thank you!
No problem at all Harrison. Glad you found it useful!
Thanks guys!
Welcome Yuriy!
Top work as usual bud 👍
Thanks Steve
Age old stuff used 30 years ago super glued maggots to cork, medusa rig
Still works now.....aint met a carp yet that wont investigate that on the surface if cast to
My go to rig is a standard hair rig
Yet another super rig thats been around 30+ years. Just like Hamidi’s worm rig
Get used to tie Albright knots, it is one of the best knots out there. And once you get used to it, it is quite easy.
But i use maggots on my regular rigs aswell. It has to be a ring or swivel on the shank, any baitfloss required rig can be a maggot rig, even if i hate the maggots on baitfloss threading part. If i try this many as you did here, i end up with mashed maggots on the ground and 2 on the floss🤣
I thought he was stopping for a sandwich when he brought the blue box out.
A maggot sandwich, now that’s a thought 😂
Pulse of the maggots )))
I fish almost the same! I dont use fluorcarbon, and i put a little 0.2 shot on the hook on it! Believe me this is a devastating rig when u fish it like this! I think it is important there are no stiff compartiments on the rig! I saw a lot underwater footage the carp swims away with the rig for almost 1 meter and still spitting it out!
Sorry, I'm from Germany, what's a 0.2 shot?
you fish without Flou?
I thought barbed hooks were a no no these days. No? Probably why the first fish he proudly held up was lipless!
But why so expensive to buy all the components that you need to make this rig 6 items £54.14 ??
How long will the maggots last like this

Too big hook for so small bait
