Totally! One of few times I totally leaped off the sofa. The comeback from the KO, (and all the talk afterward and atmosphere surrounding it, naysayers coming out of the woodwork, etc) actually made me feel personal vindication for sticking with the GOAT! DJ is not only the best fighter, but one of the most decent people to ever grace MMA with his skills, intelligence and personality. Always loved seeing him come out on top!
Bro it was awesome and adds to his GOAT resume imo. Most fighters lose and crumble afterwards, going on a streak of L's. DJ comes back and avenges his loss while also getting the finish in almost the exact same way. If he did what he did at 155 or higher almost nobody questions him as the GOAT.
Bro I can't tell you how many times I've unsuccessfully tried to replicate that kick feint, slip, to straight on the bag. Your athleticism and dexterity is elite 🔥

I hate when folks constantly stop the video in order to commentate… But when it’s Mighty Mouse, I enjoy listening to every single word. Lol. Love your insight, brother.
I love how honest you are with yourself and to the viewers. You could’ve easily said “he never hurt me or had me in any trouble whatsoever” but you literally say it how it is. I’ve been a fan forever and I’ve always enjoyed watching you stream and do interviews but your YT channel is one of the best out there rn. I honestly kind of quit watching the flyweight division when you left the UFC out of spite and I followed you to One. I still watched the other big UFC fights but the way the UFC (Dana mostly) handled the situation always left a bad taste in my mouth. I also loved seeing you get proven right when TJ fought Henry and he got KOed in like 2 mins because he couldn’t cut that much weight 😂😂😂 your assessment of that whole situation was spot on and it made me respect you on a whole other level than I already did. I really and sincerely hope you get the recognition you deserve from your time in the UFC one day. You’re without a doubt a legend in the sport and the way you ran circles around the flyweight division should really get more recognition. You’re absolutely in the top 3 of MMA Goats and I really hope the rest of the world sees that and gives you your flowers while you’re still around to receive them.
I been into either boxing or mauy Thai since I was a kid and this guy legitimately has one of the best fight IQs I have ever seen. My specialty is boxing but watching how he approaches range and gives his reasoning for making certain decisions these sorts of ideas work for all the martial arts, it just shows that this man is one of the best martial artist of all time. He’s so well rounded to see him do that well against Rodtang is a testament to that
One of the greatest fights of all time IMHO. The calm calculation on that knee really showcases the skill that goes into the sport. Love the breakdown explaining how the finish was set up from the first round.
videos like this is the reason why DJ is ma favourite mma youtuber / streamer i respect dj as a student of the game , it's amazing to have someone his level break down fights i feel blessed thank u
Nothing like watching the GOAT analyst break down the GOAT fighter in one of history's GOAT fights. How does this not have well over a million views? Every MMA fan should be drooling over this one-of-a-kind presentation. Legendary is a massive understatement. Infinite respect, Mighty!
Man idk what I love more. Watching the fight or watching your expert breakdown of the fight like this. I love the step by step and explaining the positions. Especially the ground game. So many don't understand how intricate the ground game is.
as far as storyline goes, it doesn’t get any better than this. combine that with the picture perfect technique and timing SHEESH one of the best KO’s of all time imo

The way you walk him to the fence was a thing of absolute beauty. You look like an apex predator taking down prey. I'm pretty sure DJ can see the Matrix lol. P4p greatest fighter of all time.
That knockout was fucking beautiful, man. The explosion of that right hook, the tailing him forward as he falls and that massive knee to the dome piece, buddy, that shit was goddamn MONEY. And I especially love and respect the discipline you show in following him and walking away after the knee, the display of your fight IQ in the moment, of being able to gague that he was truly down and out after the knee landed -- that's probably the most impressive thing on display. Not to mention the good sportsmanship of going to check on the guy -- and the way he embraces you when it's said and done, he gets my respect for that as well. You were both amazing. You're a legend, Mighty Johnson.
the humble king. GOAT. this was the most professionally savage and calculated breakdown i’ve seen in a long time. u know it’s real when he’s getting a rush in the middle of breaking his own fight down and has to stop to say “man i love fighting”… u deserved this win brother.
You are by far the best fight analyst in the sport. "The Void". A simple concept that many fighters may not understand. I will be applying that concept from now on as I watch fights
Knowing how the void works and how to use it to your advantage and opponents disadvantage is one of the most important aspects of fighting! Once you learn it it changes ALOT of aspects of the fight! I love how he breaks it down so well and teaches you how to work in and out of it! These videos definitely make you realize the little aspects of the sport and why he is known as one of the greatest!
@@stevenlewis4376 completely agree! But all dana cares about is the pay per views mighty mouse although one of the greatest was never really big in terms of pay per view sales, i think it had alot to do with his weight class most people wanna watch the big guys heavy hitters they want a knockout fight!
