Airports are probably the greatest miniature simulations of humanity. There's order. There's chaos. There's usually a screaming child with a mother who doesn't care. Half the people are dressed nicely while the other half are dressed like the homeless, and you can't tell if that isn't the case because they smell exactly like they look. It really is a perfect microcosm
I can confirm that this is true. When you are also waiting to get on the plane, your mum talks to some random lady she's never met as though they've known each other for half their lives and your dad just stares at his watch, waiting to get on the damn plane.
Airports are both good and bad based on my own experience. The great stuff is the anticipation of the journey, sleeping in a nearby hotel, navigating a maze-like structure, and seeing the concourse filled with planes coming and going. The bad stuff is the tediously long queues, trying to get through security (my dad once got pulled over for a perfectly normal DVD player but we were stuck over 20 minutes trying to sort it out), waiting for your baggage to show up (I had to wait 30 minutes at Manchester airport once because the luggage crew went on a break mid shift), and rushing to get on your plane only to be told the flight's been delayed an hour. But all in all, it's usually enjoyable so long as everything goes right.

Loved it! and last time I flew home, the gate number changed 4 times. Good thing they were all in the same direction. But you missed one: german airport announcer lady "Could passengers with the surnames (PROCEEDS TO MANGLE SEVERAL SURNAMES) make themselves known at their gate please?" Immediately the murmuring started behind me of OVERBOOKING and I flashed back to the Trevor Noah sketch. Yes, he's very funny but it stops being funny when it starts being you. I loved flying in Japan honestly. I was flying back to the US out of Osaka and it was the nicest airport experience I've ever had. I showed up on a bus, and they had free luggage carts right near the door, which was amazing. I pulled them over to check them and the lady at the desk was incredibly nice and professional. One of my bags was actually 2 kilos over the allowed weight, but she just said it was fine and checked it for me. Firstly, the luggage carts in the US were 9 dollars to use, and the card reader was busted so I couldn't actually use them. I was lugging my two suitcases, backpack, and guitar down this hallway fighting for my life. One of the workers took pity on me and gave me a luggage cart that hadn't been taken back, and I went to check my bags. The lady checking them immediately tried to charge me like $300 because of the extra checked bag and an overweight one. I had to take stuff out of the heavy one and fit it into my backpack, and then spend like 5 minutes explaining that no, I had already paid for my bags and that's what the receipt was for. Finally she understood me, and was like "I'll bet you're glad you kept that receipt huh?" Like no, bitch. I kept it because I was told to and I know how airports in the US are. Then I had missed my flight and had to do another transfer, where the airline left my guitar behind. Fortunately they got it to me literally next day, but it was annoying. I remember the old days, before the massive security systems. The days you could just walk into the airport and meet your loved ones at the gate. It was lovely and when I need to fly a regional airline, I get to experience that again.
Honestly I love (personally) airports and the planes bc after you get checked in at the port you can go to a lounge and chill and it’s relaxing. And first class is the best and awesome, normal economy is still good though
9:54: ima be kind, those planes are safe when properly maintained, but freebe or something prob did not do that. But 2 engine planes are safer then a single engine, and if 1/2 engines fail, the other engine takes the “load” but If all engines failed it can glide down if the pilots are experienced enough.

13:46 65lbs hamburger is huge!
He meant £65 amarican 😅
I remember the old days, before the massive security systems. The days you could just walk into the airport and meet your loved ones at the gate.
It was lovely and when I need to fly a regional airline, I get to experience that again.
Watching this video behind my check-in counter at work at the airport is pure happiness
He uploads once more. The world is healing...
Babe wake up, Joeseppi uploaded
10:47 I BUSTED OUT LAUGHING LMAO
The fact that he’s going to the desert makes me very exited, for another long drive episode
I dont know why but your narration on this makes me feel like like im watching "Boarder Force" 🤣
YIPIEEEEEEEEEE
buh
13:30 new exiting
Almost every time I’ve been on a plane I’ve gone to the same exact place I’ve been before
Maybe try going somewhere different?
Babe wake up new Joeseppi “In A Nutshell” just dropped
I got pulled aside and interviewed for having half a bag of brownie m&ms in my pocket. Airport security is crazy
14:25 unfinished busiines you say ? i cannot be more excited for that
3:59 I thought the guards would wield machetes in the UK
You’re so funny mate
Only immigrants wield them
Absolute knee slapper right there 😂😂😂 (British people and knives get it???)
2:34 oh your bag is 50.5 pounds ?? Oh okay ! That will be $647382😄😄😄
Honestly I love (personally) airports and the planes bc after you get checked in at the port you can go to a lounge and chill and it’s relaxing. And first class is the best and awesome, normal economy is still good though
me who hasnt been in first class
every time this guy uploads its just like thank god bro ive been trying to find something funny to watch for the past 5 hours
Bro, yall lucky with those duty free shop. Last time I went to the airport, a pack of gum was 5 $
9:54: ima be kind, those planes are safe when properly maintained, but freebe or something prob did not do that. But 2 engine planes are safer then a single engine, and if 1/2 engines fail, the other engine takes the “load” but If all engines failed it can glide down if the pilots are experienced enough.
12:16 they do have WiFi from experience
12:11 you think 4 hours is bad? Imagine me. I live in australia and every year me and my mum go to ireland to see our relatives. First we get a flight from australia to dubai or abu dhabi which is usually around 13 hours and then another flight to get to dublin which is 7 or 8 hours.
The next flight is sabotaged be careful
Damn bro, must be tough being rich enough to travel every year.
{ 14:19 } I'm calling it now, he's going back to the desert for another "The Long Drive" video...
As an aviation enthusiast, I must say very early moening and very late night airports are just such a vibe, there's.something about them that just feel so...charming I guess?
