Angie Brooke -I just watched his, Science Confirms Biblical Creation. That was probably one of the best presentations I've watched regarding evolution vs. creation. LMAO. there is no scientific proof for creation? how about the DNA double helix, Fibonacci sequence, how about the fact that pi goes on for infinity ( something a finite being can not even imagine or describe properly), mathematical formulas that existed way before we discovered them and the ones we haven't yet, Quantum physics proves there are other dimensions. all these things could not have accidentally just happened. in fact the signature of god is all over this universe. there are 100's of things written in the Bible that prove it was inspired by someone who lives outside of our time continuum. I'd be glad to share some of those with you if it would open your mind to the possibility that this entire universe was created. the word of god is not the invention of any man but the very truth of god. the evidence is overwhelming if you look at the facts. there is more proof of creation than macro evolution
I think you just watch any scientific documentary about space. Just remove the actual cause of things and add that it was made by god and you get this kind of video.

Actually there is a part of the Bible that says 1000 days= 1 day to God. Now think about science of relativity, time dilation, black hole and quantum physics. Actually, Science is truth and God is truth also. I just have this mind that science is not actually stopping the existence of God. Maybe it's not yet discovered but everything in science is slowly proving God's existence.
God will prove he exist himself. All it takes is something very bad that angers and effect someone eternally. Life changing near death experiences seems to be up his alley. Just look at how history shaped up. Moses was lucky. They where killing baby boys. Noah was faced with a great deal of wickedness. People were to unreachable. Like today people can't be reached. Now under estimating our God. As he allows bad things to happen. Never stopping nor preventing nothing to happen to us. Well I guess asteroids and the sun he is keeping thoses things from wiping us out. But he created them. Like us. He created bad things that happens. If not how can he proves he's God and become known to do the impossible as we may think it. We are dealing with a terrible and miserable God. Alone he was. Now he has us. He's no longer miserable he has our company. We miserable with him. It's no other way around. Just experience the forgiveness and love. Learning lots of dark secrets in the process. So there you have it. Why God allows bad things to happen. If not how does he proves he's almighty and powerful like no other. If things was all made good. We wouldn't need nor look for him. Instead he is founded to be influencing the wicked to become a life problem in your life to test our faith. See what we do. See what we act like and Learning how bad and long we suffer from allowing it to happen. Maybe after humans he make something better than humans. Everything he makes living has to kill to survive. Eat to survive. Eat what,? Animals play by no rules. It's kill or be kill. Be hunted or become the hunter. No government policing at all. Very honest violence against one another to survive. They will never be forced to abey and know of a God. Humans it's different. We know the way after we are able to know the way. Sometimes our way is cut short. Just things we can't avoid because of someone else didn't want to do right. So we suffering from everyone who not into knowing what they do. Such a young species we are. We never been here before. It's not our fault he made this world and chaos is something that gets him moving to prove himself. Forced to be a slave to get to know him later. May take him 10 to 20 of our calendar years. Space and God has no time. No day no night. Just things exists just as he set everything on course. Including all the bad folks. They have a purpose in life. To mess up someone else's life so God can prove himself later if you're not another dead statistic. If you survive. The nightmares and punishment begins. You only wish you was dead. Instead of alive. Jesus couldn't stay here. To many demons to fight with for a earth life time

God doesn't do anything willy nilly. Hebrews do this weird thing with "Weeks", the 70 weeks of Daniel was weeks of years, i.e. 7 years is 1 week, in God's economy 1,000 years is 1 week. (You can do that when you don't exist in time)
So, God's plan for Man is, we are going to work for 6 days, (6,000 years) and we will rest for 1 day, what we refer to is "the millennium", we are getting close to the end of our 6th day, no one knows the exact date because before Christ they didn't record time like we do now, it was... so and so live 80 years and died, or, 10 years in the days of King so and so... not a very accurate way to record time.
There was a beginning and there will be an end, Jesus is either going to be your Blessed Hope or your Holy Terror, its up to you which its going to be.

Of course, you DO realize the bible was written soley by man.....many men, but nonetheless, MEN. Show me a book....ANY book, penned by God himself! For a being alledgedly credited with creating this entire two trillion galaxy universe, with each galaxy briming with billions and sometimes trillions of stars....should be just a mere 'snap' of his fingers. Of course, after all of that effort, its possible he was simply too tired to also create an instruction manual!

This is my sentiment as well that science will only prove what God has done but know this Ecclesiastes 3:11 reveals that God placed eternity in the heart of man so that he cannot know what God has done from the beginning to the end

@@mytesting878 something unexplained by Science is just something that we either don't know about it something that we don't know that we don't know about, plus we also can't know everything exacly, something we never would've understood 20 Years ago is now common knowledge and expanded upon now. Science is ever changing and as our sphere of knowledge increases, the sphere of things that we don't know also increases, that doesn't somehow act as proof of some Deity but more so proof that we can learn more about our Universe.

I don't mean to be confrontational but I fail to see what scientific proof of God's existence this video shows. There's plenty of scientific discussion about the size of the universe, power of the atom etc. I loved the comparison of the stars sizes and the vast scale of the universe but this was linked to some vague biblical text's. Maybe I'm missing something?

Those quick to claim with absolute certainty that it was God or intelligent design are those that NEED an answer NOW and are simply uncomfortable with the fact that we don't know. The only utility in filling in the blanks via religion is to stave off a personal fear of the unknown and quell existential anxiety; It's an understandable defense mechanism, but it doesn't hold any weight within the realm of rational thought, the scientific method, and objective thinking. The fact of the matter is, we may never know the answer as to how the universe formed - and as rational intelligent thinkers, we need to be okay with that and not submit to baseless religious fantasies.
Oh, well, the lord works in mysterious ways. The lord is beyond rational thought. I always think about how thankful i am that my car is not as finely tuned as the universe, if it were it would blow up if it went one MPH faster or slower than 30 MPH. They need to start with study & contemplation about the mind that they use to think with.

The Universe is 13.7 Billion Light Years big in all directions, the Unobservable Universe is possibly Hundreds of Billions but Light can only travel so fast in a vacuum.
I can easily grasp it, it's a very long time and our Solar System would be long gone by then and our Galaxy would have collided with the Andromeda Galaxy and the Universe would continue at the current state for another 100 Trillion Years until most of the gasses and dust and matter gets absorbed by the Supermassive Black Holes and Galaxies run out of fuel to produce stars. That's literally Thousands of times the age of the Universe into the future, very easy to understand, there's heaps more events and several different and unique scenarios depending on how Particles act and decay over time which will extend so far into the future that time will not really have much meaning and even the black holes start to die out.

Science can do many things but it can't specifically explain why the christian god is the correct one to follow. Zeus looks down upon you all.
I think therefore i exist, therefore i was created or always existed and the creator was created or always existed, therefore God exist. If time and existence began from nothing then a miracle exists because logic and science do not support the creation from non existence. I challenged humanity to debate with me the existence of God. God is a miracle, an impossibility possible. We are God, the miraculous entity that always existed, and hell and heaven is ourselves for eternity til endless death when all life die. God is eternal and mortal, one and multiple, finite and infinite, hate and love, perfect and imperfect, everything and nothing, superior and inferior, same and different, dependent and independent, life and death, ignorance and knowledge, power and impotence, creation and evolution, etc. The natural laws are how God functions. God could be understood as a person with an infinite life in infinite time, and each organ or cell in the body is a living organism. We are all part of God, we all live the same and different God’s life. When we die we become the past of God, that is present and future impossibility possible miracle, and would know and understand self, we would experience everything.

This is Middle School Astronomy they include in their science and biology books. When you get to the seriousness of the universe, at a college level or better, it really starts to make this look like that movie "Finding Jesus" Finding Nemo ripoff.
it depends on which college gives a level of seriousness. When we re trace back the origin of the world, one theory that everyone accepts as an acceptable theory that debunks God and considered as "serious" as some might call, would be the big bang. But even the big bang itself does not have merit to the "seriousness" of the study. One simple example is the rotation of planets after the big bang. if the big bang did happen, the force must result to a one way rotational spin of every planet. Be it counterclockwise or clockwise. But the theory does not seem to include that hypothesis or answer why Uranus and Venus would have a different rotational spin against other planets. Other theories would add different explanation as to how and why they differ, but they are more of a pseudoscience than science itself as the explanation is not backed with any scientific facts or theories rather opinions of different "great scientific minds". So to call college level explanation as a more "serious" approach to the study without giving reasons as to why they are "serious" in the first place is not just condescending but ignorant and arrogant.
In Middle school I was learning about the Four Fundamental forces of the Universe and the idea of particles like the Tachyon and the Graviton and back then the Higgs Boson didn't even exist as a usable concept.
If we were about to discover GOD our Creator what would it be next!? Perhaps how did GOD came in his EXISTENCE!?? You see , the curiosity and questions would never end just like the SKY where we don't know who's behind its EXISTENCE. That's why the science concentrates most on how to improve and make human being life longer rather than chasing our CREATOR that we call it GOD.

Feeble minds like ours ask questions through science, and yet the best scientific minds could not replicate the solar system in the process. If science could not replicate the raw materials it studies, science is in no place in a par with the Creator of the materials thereof. It does not have the intelligence of the Creator either. The only position it has left is to stand as a witness of truth that the Creator exists. When it steers away from that, you get science stand as if it was the creator itself. And yet again, it could not replicate the same raw materials it studies and you still get a second hand explanation in the process.

God's creation is a great marvel... I usually watch the breathtaking night skies and worship God.
Watch the skies? How about Betelgeuse's upcoming demise? Ever since growing up in the 50's under dark Oregon skies and learning the constellations then, I have kept an eye on them. Also, have traveled the world to view total solar eclipses and saw my last one three years ago from Argentina....my 10th.
As long as Betelguese is going to blow, I would love to see it, but Orion is surely going to look far different with his red right shoulder missing.

Quoting facts about the Sun, the Universe, the speed of light, and the size of the universe, does not prove God exists. I find it a bit disquieting that otherwise intelligent people like those in this video, insist that God's existence is proven by these facts. If they believe that's actually proof, then I question their sanity.

It's hard to believe that the sun is that far away and still heats the Earth. I think the answer is in probability and statistics. The odds of everything running as perfectly as it does, and systematically as it does, is phenomenal. That right there shows intelligence. An accident wouldn't work quite that well. Too any things have to be just right, and stay just right in order to keep us alive. It doesn't take a genius to see that. The sun itself is jus ONE example.
The word “accident” implies a disposition. It was not an accident, it just happened.
It is only possible to find yourself in an environment that supports yourself, so of course our environment supports life.
The probability cannot simply be assigned as low when taking into account that there are 200 sextillion stars in the observable universe. If we say that the probability of a given star system to support life is 1 in 10^22 (amount of sand grains on earth), then you can expect 20 star systems to support life.
If the world was unfit for life. You wouldn't exist to argue this. This argument would only work if the Universe was perfect, which it's not.

Okay I more or less subscribe to the general morphology statements.
However the claims that "god spoke and it was there" are NOT supported by the same figures and
distances that are otherwise mentioned.
I guess for these supposed experts in their fields, they have not thought thru, the things they

Never mind that it takes anywhere from six months to several million years for
a star to "turn on" depending on what spectral-class/morphology it is (which relates to mass, whose
accretion disk only requires a few billion years to form in the first place).
Hence even if I bought this "story", the other post about " a minute to god being a thousand to humans"
DOES NOT REMOTELY WASH. Rather off by a factor of a million or so. At MINIMUM.
Then there is that problem with "light". We pretty much know how fast it travels. Therefore:
Contrary to what was said in the audio track for this clip, no living human has ever seen
"Antares" (aka Alpha Scorpii) since at roughly 550 LY distant, we are only seeing today the light which
left that star about 550 years ago. And all humans then alive, ARE DEAD NOW.
So we are not seeing Antares when we look at the constellation Scorpio. Rather we are seeing an image
of how it looked about 550 years ago. That is significantly before europeans in any significant numbers,
came to the americas and before more than a handful even imagined such a place to exist, let alone
widely enslave it. Which "christian" values incidentally seemed to also enthusiastically permit.
So if "god said let there be light" and somehow the sun EVENTUALLY RESPONDED TO THAT ORDER,
there still would have been darkness FOR AT LEAST another 8 minutes since that is how long it would
take for sunlight to get to wherever earth was supposed to be.
Never mind that the "order of events" in "genesis KJV" indicates that "waters" existed and THEN earth did,
and THEN the stars did. Never mind that "waters" have no place to collect without a planet's gravity to
hold them in place. And without an atmosphere, were would "water" come from in the first place.
FURTHER, the nearest other star is about 3 LY away so if "stars" somehow did not include the sun, there
would have still been at least three years of darkness. "Genesis" is not clear how god told the stars to turn
on. Were that order give by SOUND WAVES, see above for why we would still be waiting YET TODAY for
even those only a few million light years away.
After which WITHOUT THE SUN YET, starlight from JUST ONE STAR would have been insufficient to really
see much of anything.
Even if there were anyone there who had eyes. Which apparenlty did not happen until the sixth day.
So no, I do not buy ANY of the "creation story" no matter whose version you guys are claiming to

A God who created such a vast universe must surely be great and omnipotent. Still, despite all His power, He let the nazis happily destroy the Jews, the chosen people, His people. I am not judging people way too fast, Jason, I just do not want to waste people's time by reading a super long comment. We came up with the big bang theory because of what we observed... we have evidence for it, quite a bit of it too. God is just something that people just used to save time. Also, God is usually portrayed as a humanoid. Why believe in a humanoid that created the universe, as humans are only a small part of the universe, but the big bang is made of matter, the stuff that is all around the universe. Why believe in God, something so specific?
There is no such proof of an intelligent being.
Also, the universe is very random. By the law of entropy, matter gets more and more random, and we see this, we observe this.
And this video having a book on God, have we ever observed God? no. No proof. The texts are made by people, stories made up. The big bang theory has solid evidence, the cosmic background radiation from faraway objects is seen because it takes billions of years for the light to reach us. We still have some cosmic background radiation that can be detected today, and there is no way it can be removed. I still don't have solid proof that a god ever existed, where is that?
About the chances, yes, those are right, but so what? They happened here. Maybe there are other universes that didn't end up that way. But we actually don't have lots of proof for multiverses, so we don't use them. Why not debunk the God theory in the same way as well?

I had a discussion with a friend and I explained to him that science is a way of understanding the world we see. By virtue of the definition science and testifying that God exist, science is merely a testimony of what God has done.

I see God's touch in every good thing! Look at the plants the earth the sky the animals the water and every living thing. Thank you God for loving us !
But we literally don't see his touch anywhere. Every single thing ever studied has natural origins and no need for a god. It's one thing to have faith, but to claim he's there just because you think nature is beautiful, is a bit silly.

(1) Background cosmic microwaves (discovered 1964 - Nobel awarded 1978)
(2) The exact amount of helium in the universe
(3) Gravity waves (detected in 2016)
(4) Higgs boson (predicted 1964, discovered 2012, Nobel 2013)
(5) Flat universe
(6) Temperature of universe
(7) Scalar fluctuation should be slightly less than 1 (it was .97)
(8) Equal energy throughout the universe
Not bad for a "theory" that most on this forum say is "not true"
