I have commented on recent videos about the attitude of the police when they state “make a complaint afterwards”. I too have a complaint pending and my solicitors are actioning for me. I now believe that officers should have their own indemnity insurance that pays out rather than the constabulary they work for and therefore the taxpayer. Their premiums will dictate how they comply to the laws that they supposedly uphold. Too many upheld complaints will push their premiums through the roof.

My favourite quote was just before the 15 minute mark on this video, when the woman police cunstable up hearing the videographer ask to put his bag down before she abused him by illegally searching his body and pockets, came up with the wonderful line “ Whatever makes it easier for you sir” What would make it easier for him and for all of us is if the police didn’t abuse every inch of their power at every opportunity, especially when seeing somebody standing on a street holding the camera. It would also make it easier if the police learned the laws that they are meant to enforce and read their own policies. And finally, it would also be quite nice if the police occasionally caught a real criminal instead of picking on innocent citizens.

By principle you do mean, for the rights of ordinary citizens. I've noticed a swing towards police officers not allowing auditors/the public to film them during their illegal searches. No transparency as a result. In all reality it should be made clear if the ability is there for a person to film it should beade clear that they can, not that I think they'd ever adhere to that policy either!

So if he thought or was thinking you are trying to bate a response, then why did he respond? Should aim a little bit higher than an inspector, at least the "Superintendent" who is in charge of that entire police station, and also the "Chief Constable" who would be located at headquarters by putting them all of a "Notice of Intention" that is forewarning them of a "Notice before Action" that would have made them sit up and take "Notice of Impending Danger" that one of their "Subordinates" as "Step Out Of Line in his disgraceful behaviour. They would have more than a word with him by drawing them into a response that could have ramifications for them both; if this is not resolved to your satisfaction, "Post-Haste" further action will happen. They would not want to be "Held Responsible for someone who has "Stepped Out Of Line," I can assure you. It is more trouble than it is worth for them both, especially if you understood correctly how to open up Court" yourself, as the "Court" is your paperwork and not a building, so if you did so with it by understanding the "Post Box/Office Rules." No, there are NO grounds for a search under Section 43 of the Terrorism Act. They HAVE to reasonably believe the searched is a terrorist. They admit they do not believe that. Video recording in a public place is no suspicion of being a terrorist. This was nothing less than retaliation for failing to comply with unlawful orders. Rifling through someone's pockets and clothing is not being polite.

By principle you do mean, for the rights of ordinary citizens. I've noticed a swing towards police officers not allowing auditors/the public to film them during their illegal searches. No transparency as a result. In all reality it should be made clear if the ability is there for a person to film it should beade clear that they can, not that I think they'd ever adhere to that policy either!

They would have more than a word with him by drawing them into a response that could have ramifications for them both; if this is not resolved to your satisfaction, "Post-Haste" further action will happen.
They would not want to be "Held Responsible for someone who has "Stepped Out Of Line," I can assure you.

Once put on notice that they are trampling your rights (making up any “law” in order to do whatever they want) they should, be personally found guilty, personally fined, personally censured, along with the “generic police” compensation. It should affect (delay) promotions and worst cases should be dismissal.
