Charter fishing CARNAGE in Cornwall

- During a short stint back in Cornwall I found the fishing to be rather challenging but that’s to be expected throughout February and March. A day on the reefs off west Cornwall aboard Lo Kie adventures skippered by Kieren Faisey was in order!
This boat is the first choice for many anglers, not only does it fish some of the most productive grounds in the UK but the skipper will work tirelessly to put you on the fish.
On this day in early March we were fortunate to have settled seas, clear water and small tides. I was focused on the lures using a fairly light spinning outfit working jigs and soft plastics. The sport was constant and smiles all round the boat. It was one of those days where everything came together.

A very good day afloat with mates, everyone buzzing. Good selection of beautifully marked fish, with the two wrasse so differently marked and coloured. Excellent viewing Oban.

I was just out pass the Castle Polruan/Fowey On bank holiday Monday last week with my friend on his Sib . We were out by the rocks with the white cross . We had 43 mackerel catching them on a signal line 😂, 2 Pollock and 1 bass . When out about 3 pm came back in 6.30 pm .. wasn’t expecting. To catch what we did

Have been recently at Aquila Sport Fishing Charters charity fishing trip for 25gbp :) Like you are fishing and he is donating fishes to food bank and you can ceep some fish for yourself. We did catch approx 200 Whiting fishes in 2 hours :))) also did catch some mackerel, sandeels, pollack. Was a lot of fun.

No doubt I’ll be getting another SIB but for now I’ve gone for something a bit bigger! Video to come soon.

All of them, Kieren is particularly passionate about making sure they do. He has a great method of getting them down deep when the fish couldn’t by itself.
