I have to say these demos changed my entire fucking world! Please don't under estimate these. Listen CLOSELY to every step. Use that pause spacebar, soak it all in. If you try it and it doesnt workout go back and you'll start to see things you didn't pick up on the first few times. Its all here but are you willing to leanr?

While the spotting from drips and the streaks from flowing down vertical surfaces have their techniques displayed in clear steps, the liquid spill and subsequent spreading at segment 03:25 in a seamless gradient, from thick to thin, and glossy to matte would be most challenging. I could only guess the application of different dilutions of engine oil, all laid down while wet so as to blend into each other. Or, use a Wet Effects or Acrylic gloss varnish in different dilutions to portray the spreading out in gradation. Either way, quite challenging.
