A fantastic job Lukasz! A simple fuel barrel turns into a miniature masterpiece. I am really learning a lot from your ‘how to’ videos, and I’m looking forward to more. Thanks so much for sharing, and cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Great video, and given me a new outlook on colours. Loved the confidence when separating the PE parts from the frets, if I did it that way most of the bits would ping off and never be seen again!
Excellent video my friend really helpful tutorial great weathering and use of the pencil just the right amount of wear more videos like this please thanks for sharing 👍👍
Im going to make some short tutorial for beginners to show my way of preparing some different elements for the models. You know, this is neverending story :)
Thanks mate, your video has helped me a lot. I have really struggled with the barrels, trying to make them look authentic. I'm on my second diorama with barrels, but in this one they won't be covered in dust and rubble, so your technique is going to be a huge help to me. Thank you again, and God's blessings
Dear Friend, Outstanding video! You just demonstrated on how to take a barrel to another level. I really like your technique on how you used pencils to make the tiny lettering on the barrel pop. You always come up with something new to make this great hobby a joy. Kudos to you!
Agree 100% with your view on barrels. I never paint them with any fancy colours, not even with WH colours. SIlver grey is the best (and historically accurate) way.
Very nice and realistic,in my opinion. It's strange, that overall reality is requested and there are strong "fights"regarding "tried hues"of some color, but at the same time "increasing of color variation"is required. And so to have some "parrot like"elements are "the must" on our models.
What did you do with the holes drilled for the toothpick? Leave them, or fill them? Assuming they were considered unimportant because the bas3 of the drum was hidden when stood upright.
@@coldemonspl understood. Just seems a waste with such quality PE to waste it. With the fine work you’ve shown, placing an unseen PE end on a seen end of a Tamiya barrel would make an otherwise uninspiring piece look excellent. Still great to see a master craftsman do their stuff.
Czasami używam, wszystko zależy od ilości detali i wielkości powierzchni. No oczywiście kwestia kalek.
I bought the Tamiya ones. A real pain to fill the gaps and sand. These look better. Thanks mate.
Tamiya is old, very old. The Eureka XXL product is top quality and detail. Don't waste your time and money :)
@@coldemonspl thank you!

Helpful video! I want to paint barrels soon too!
Thx :)
Awesome work man !
Many thx mate! :)
Great video, thank you for sharing!
No problem! :)
Great doing 👍
Thx! :)
Great how to video. Ive tried galvanized barrels several times and they always suck. This makes it look easy. Great results.
Thx a lot Dana! Try my method. I think it is the easiest one to finish the barrels with good effects! :)
Great video
Thx! :)
Your video is very interesting, also ideal for 1:16 200L petrol barrels from Classic Hobby!
Thx David! :)
Great tutorial👍
Many thx! :)
Very nice job 👍
Thank you very much! :)
Bardzo dobry odcinek ! Zdecydowanie rób więcej filmów z dodatkami do modeli w roli głównej ! Podoba się !!
Włąsnie widzę, że jest zapotrzebowanie na tego typu filmy. Muszę to uwzględnić w grafiku :)
Awesome video man! Very informative and life like effects.
Thx mate! I hope the effect is balanced? :)

Yep. I have fancy color for modern ones. :)
Nice video 👌

Dzięki wielkie za poradnik, bardzo mi pomógł przy moich beczkach, pozdrawiam.

I always drill them in unseen places. And they are unimportant in the end. :)

@@Beniah107 For me its not a problem. Eureka barrels are not expensive so I dont care about unused PE parts or drilled once. :)

Przed washem olejnym nie używasz lakieru gloss? Od razu na akryle dajesz oleje??
