- Hello everyone. My name is Nastaran if you have never seen any of my videos before and thank you for being here. In this video I’m going to take you to Hawaiian shores, and all the wonders and beauty it contains. A day trip is also taken at the Maku’u point. This place is absolutely gorgeous. If you’ve never been there put it on your todo list. You won’t be disappointed. There is a buzz in the air, and I could feel an energy from beyond as it gives me massive goosebumps. Lots of Drone videos of the whole area. Experimenting with my camera to catch the birds at the natural state by hiding my camera and that is so cool to see then close and personal. Aloha, and mahalo for a wonderful video again, I am presently watching with one of my hospice patients. She enjoys it immensely, even as much as the Elvis videos, so that says a lot. It is so unfortunate though that in order for myself to return home to Pahoa, one more of clients must do what is expected, both have outlived what was expected six months ago so I remain until my job is complete enough for somebody to cover for me. Your videos allow me to reflect on what I miss the most. Thank you so much again.

That’s you for sure-such a caring, kind person-your attitude to life and Hawaii and your inner peace is and does rest deeply in my personal perspective and wishes in life. I have watched-several times -your last two videos with pure joy at the Hawaiian beauty, your reflections about feelings and life and inner peace. Needless to say-I enjoy these videos and your words, experiences, and your reflections-probably more than I should. It’s like we are the same but from different mothers and different parts of the world.
I was so concerned with your experience with the car and shady guys , that were driving up and down your street. That was so scary for you I know( I was in law enforcement for 30 years) there are some evil people everywhere-even in paradise.
So happy that your hand is getting better-I know sometimes not being able to see the Dr is frustrating.
So how am I you ask-well, that’s a good question and probably it’s best to not share with the whole world, as everyone has their own issues and frustrations and challenges.

My brother lives in HPP on 7th. I have only been there once but I bought 2 acres up in Fern Acres. Hoping to get out to clear my land sometime this year. I love your approach and perspective about life there. Please keep up the good work. From a new subscriber

I have it down to about three places, Fern Forest, Mountain view, maybe parts of Ocean view. However I do have a lead on some land that's not listed, it's above Hilo. I don't want to buy the land until I walk it.
I been studying teck and the solar is amazing. Then theirs the Gosun solar cooker that's works really good and only uses 150 watts used in.. And they have solars coolers that have a battery backup and can keep the food cold for a week with no power. I looked at some teck that people have and it's ten years dated and very expensive to run. The old solar loses 30 to 40 percent in the step up and down in voltage and loses in the system. In the last month alone there's been some basic things that work well. White rocks under the panels is like a 7 percent increase. Then water cooling up to 15 percent .Solar tracking 35. Also blocked appliances that run directly off the panels help with battery life and reduces the size of the inverter needed.
Don't worry about the white algae, it's probably just the cesium.😁

If you haven’t seen the Hilo side yet, please do. Very different from Kona side. Very green, waterfalls, black sand beaches, and old Hawaii feel. I think you will love it.
I love your channel, I’m always excited to see another video. We will end up in Hawai’i in the next few years. We bought property in Orchidland but I would really like to be in Hawaiian Beaches. We actually went under contract on a house a few years ago but decided not to pull the trigger because of the insurance rates. I would like to ask how much roughly you are paying? We were quoted 500/month and the only insurance available was the state insurance! If we could buy a home there with cash in a few years I would be willing to entertain that monthly cost.
Aloha my dear and thank you for your comment . I’m so excited for you that you might be moving here in the next few years. The insurance issue is real. My insurance costs me 400 a month and it’s a real bummer that no other company is willing to insure us in lava zone 2 . Have you looked in to HPP? They’re zone 3 and they can get regular insurance but property prices are a little bit higher, have water catchment system and no mail delivery. It’s like each neighborhood has their own pros and cons. I have never been to a property in orchid land. The closest I have come to orchidland was to go to Kaleo’s restaurant which is so wonderful. @@Nastaran.Battles Thanks for your reply! Yes, we have explored the east side pretty extensively and I like HPP a lot, I just reeeeally like the idea of having mail delivery and municipal water. It may be well worth the couple hundred extra on the insurance. Just getting a PO Box in Puna can take a couple years wait. I also have a successful ceramics business and use USPS to ship so having a home pick up of packages going out would be amazing.
@@reefshadow1 I totally get the mail and water situation. To me it was worth paying the extra insurance price, as I really really love my immediate neighborhood and the feeling it gives me. You mention you have a ceramic business, and it makes me smile. I love ceramics. For a while I was making leaf shaped trinket dishes using air dry clay, and then painting them to resemble the real leaf. I still do it but visiting Hawaii so much, I don’t have enough time to do that. I understand ceramic process is so different than the air dry, but still same idea, and can understand the necessity of having USPS access at your door. Would love to see your work.
@@Nastaran.Battles Wonderful! I have an Etsy called “moth and raven studio” where I sell mostly tiles and also my own website where I sell handpainted mugs and things. When we end up there I’ll have to look you up and see if you want to play with some clay!
Makes sense, thanks for your reply. Just be careful, like when there was a car that stop by at your house, sometimes they're checking to see if you live by yourself and that's how they plan to rob your house so many criminals in the US, I hope that's not the case there. Just be extra vigilant and don't just trust anybody especially when you do your adventures by yourself. Good luck and take care!
Exactly what I was going to tell her! im born and raised here in Hawaii. There is plenty of Aloha. However, she needs to be extra careful. There are very bad people out there, especially in that area, as well as secluded areas... PLEASE BE CAREFUL DON'T JUST TRUST STRANGERS... LOVE your video and you have a kind spirit, that's the kind of people we love to have in Hawaii... again there is many bad people, especially when you're alone... don't show your address, or inside of your home as well. Watch what u post
