I finally got another pedal bike this year after selling my 2012 nomad c which I still sometimes regret. I went with a Rocky Mountain Growler 20 which I think should be ok for Nevada City after watching this video. I've never been but can't wait, looks like so much fun. I'm local to Pinecrest, CA if you're ever up this way checking out the big mountain trails, I'd love to catch a ride with ya. 🤙
Cool video! These are fun trails. Another bonus to all that sweet tree cover, is when it's 100+ out at Auburn the canopy cover makes these feel like 80s and totally ridebable. Hoot does feel like a bike park but all natural lol. Come back again and hit Mammoth Bar in Auburn!
Hello, wanted to thank you for all your amazing videos and being so opened about your experiences. I was wondering if you'd be able to weigh in on a new comer to mtb . I've done it a few months and in ready to get a newer bike. What's your opinion on those big box stores like a schwinn from Walmart as opposed to a bike that runs in the hundreds? Thank you for any response!
Yes of course! I'd stay far away from big box stores. The parts are very cheap and are not made for real trail riding. It's actually unsafe. Hope this helps.
It does feel damn good to be alive. Hey, do you ever post your rides? I totally would have driven the 25 mile. Check out some Auburn trails if you haven't already. Keep it up.
You got so poetic Tony! Love it and you definitely hit on some of the reasons I love riding. That moment where you stop thinking and just being in the moment. Also, GREAT pupper pip cameos in there! hahahahah Keep the content coming!
I have to say that I don’t like the direction you’ve been going with your videos too commercial to me and over killed with advertisements and sponsors. I don’t blame you for that but I miss the raw feels of the old videos , honestly I haven’t finished to watch any of your last 10/15 videos.
Sorry to hear it - I guess having sponsored vids and promotions is part of trying to make it as a full time youtuber. This is my job now and it's hard to work for free when rent is due and the truck needs gas.
The outsider goes ASMR
Hahaha

Love that! Cheers Ricardo!
I miss the old style outsider videos. All the music and voice over made it feel busy. To much to pay attention to.
Gotcha. Thanks for the feedback Jake. Just been trying some new things.
I think you just created a new film standard known as the Pip Pause™️. ✌🏼🤟🏼
Haha yessss!
