I just installed an IAG Street Series AOS in my 15 wrx and this video helped me a lot. For anyone doing this install, it's not overly complicated but it does take a lot of time and elbow grease.
Used this video to install the v3 street series onto my 15 wrx. I also did my complete TGV housings and EGR deletes. In all thanks to this video, I was able to follow along (very minor changes on the AOS) and complete this in just about 2.5/3 hours. Thanks SubiSpeed and Kevin!!!
Can I ask what tuner you used/where they're located (if not e-tune) for your build? I have TGV/EGR on hand but I haven't put all my parts on yet because I can not find a tuner who will tune with TGV/EGR deletes anymore.
quick tip for anyone who has issue installing the hose into the port under the intake manifold. Remove the drive belt, unbolt the A/C Compressor and that will give you enough room to get those hose on.
2015+ WRX CVT or 2014+ Foresters XT owners that like IAG AOS may run into an install issue. Stock CVT Oil cooler (which would not recommend deleting in any circumstance) is side mounted with oil line and coolant line obstructing the relocation of the ECU. A hand held hose cutter did the trick for me. Trim all 4 lines 1”-2” and you’re new IAG AOS kit will fit perfectly.
OMG... this makes Crawford AOS install look like a piece of cake. Glad I went with Crawford. IAG still looks awesome too though. Picked my poison! 😁👍🏼🤙🏼
Do you need to do a coolant flush after install or anything? I noticed in the video you pinched off the coolant hose going to the turbo to orevent any loss.. that doesnt cause an air bubble when you have the new hoses in and unpinch it?
Why do some people use the bottom port with the big hose with the 90 and some people use the top port and run it to the port behind the ac compressor both go to the same connection .
I have a 2016 WRX with iaG oil separator and front mounted intercooler. I would like to do a boost leak test with pressure test (for possible boost leak) using adapters and air compressor. How would you go about connecting and pressurising the set up that I have safely ?
I have an issue. I bought the precision works aos, and everything was basically the same until I got to the last hose. I have that breather hose from the top of the block to the turbo with no where to put it. I have one less hose outlet on the aos, should I remove the piece I capped on the bottom of the aos and run a hose from that to the turbo?
The routing of the aos lines is a little different on the 18 wrx vs the 15 wrx if anyone is doing this install. Make sure to print out the right directions for your year on iag website

Hey guys, I installed everything and it works great! My only worry is that the stock coolant hose when connected to the bottom of the aos makes a sharp bend because it seems to be only just long enough to reach the supplied hose. Any recommendations on what length I should replace it with and what type of hose to use?
So I think my PCV is shit because my turbo is burning LOTS of oil now, 1qt every 1k miles. Im assuming the pressure destroyed the inside of my turbo because my intercooler is not coated in excessive oil but my exhaust side of the turbo is disgusting. Would the COMP series AOS replace my current PCV? Once I replace the turbo I think im going to go with this product too. Already have EGR and TGV deletes so, only smart if I did this as well.
i dont understand how you had no coolant come out when removing the turbo line. IAG install instructions act like a little may come out but mine absolutely gushed out, RIGHT into the turbo. WTFFMLBBQ!!!1
@@ravioliformuoli520 not maybe, definitely. If you're having second thoughts if it's illegal to do in California, it's definitely illegal. Having a stock car is illegal now, apparently.
Hard to say which is necessarily better than the other. They both use coolant to heat the AOS and they both use advanced baffle technology to separate the oil vapor from the air so you couldn't go wrong with either one.
Probably one of the cleanest looking installs I've seen for an AOS, hoses aren't just left dangling and what not, nice job Kevin!
Thanks! Gotta keep that engine bay looking good for future videos!

Great tip! Thankfully I have small hands and long hose pliers 😂
This was way overdue for an installation guide good job man

Do a video on brake pad replacement and fluid flush! ;)
Will do!

One for 15+ sti would be nice as well 😁
this install looks like a damn nightmare to do
i thought my sti was a bitch, but fuck!

Probably a good idea

Well then here you go!
@@SubiSpeed Love the vids, guys!
Where’s the STI installation video? Next one please!!!
Is that 90 degree fitting on the breather hose on top of the block really needed? Felt like that made it more of a b****.
Do one for the sti (: tmic pain in the ass to put back

Finally! 🙌
Thanks for the install
Does this AOS need a tune?
Street version no. Comp version yes.
is this the same for the '19? recommended done by a shop? or something a first time subie owner would be able to do?
I didnt know there was instructions when i did this my first time so just had to wing it but eventually figured it out
This will totally work for the Cobb aos? I'm like 99% sure they're the same thing just different finish
Is this confirmed??
@@FlameingPandas I was asking but have since installed mine and yeah they're essentially the same

I wonder if there is any good video like this one for a 2016 sti
THANK YOU
You're welcome!
i noticed a small bit of oil in the area at 13:05, im assuming its from the lines not being secured enough? or is there another issue
Good shit Kevin!
Where could I buy the breather hose white piece that attaches to both hose ?

Yeah this looks like a pain in the ass, I don’t feel like doing this job so I’ll get a shop to install it
Next can you do a video on a vape install
will this pass smog? in cali?
Can you do how to bleed brakes?
Will add it to the list!

quick question, did your gush out from the turbo instead of the hose ?
what kind of strut brace are you using that will clear your AOS?
I have a megan racing strut bar that clears the AOS
Would it be a good idea to place this on a stock block ?
Yes
Appreciate the help
What kind of strut tower brace is that?
Isn't an EGR delete illegal in the US? I don't know much about it but I read something like this online. Is it true?
Maybe in California

Do you need to do maintenance on the aos had mines since 2016
Nope, not really. It pretty much takes care of itself. Just make sure it's not leaking and all the lines are secure and you're good!
@@SubiSpeed thanks
Will this work for the cobb aos
What tensioners work with the aos installed in the strut wall?
Is this one better than the Perrin AOS?

Great video man! So did I win the giveaway? Lol 🤞
You'll find out in next months new products video 😉
how do you drain it?
You don't. It returns the separated oil to the engine.
This video got me so lost when he started mentioning parts that weren’t there
What are the benefits for this aos thing??
some of those hoses and harness are gonna rub and wear down, failure points
No 🤦♂️ they don't rub or wear down if you properly secure them as shown in the video.
Does anyone know if you have to delete the right side intercooler bracket?

I emailed you guys about an order 4 days ago and haven't heard back
Notification squaddd
Can’t hear anyone’s voice
how many likes can i get for doing nothing?
You've got one like for watching.
Looks complicate @_@
Well that's what the video is for 🙂
This install is a fucking mess.
