I was fortunate to hit the Allies of Skin Buy One/Get One sale two weeks ago. I'm absolutely loving their Peptides Daily Treatment, Molecular Silk Amino Cleanser, and Firming Eye Cream. Why did it not occur to me to use the Peptides Daily Treatment under the eyes? It's always a struggle for me to find products for under the eyes that doesn't gunk up my corrector/concealer. So far, so good with the Defenage 8-1. Thank you for all you do, Mandy! ♥

Gracious...I'm very intrigued by the defenage product! Do you feel you need a light moisturizer since it goes on after? I currently use sente ulta nourish (thanks to you) :) ...and I love it! It would be very hard for me to give that up, ha!

Hang tight to the Sente. I wouldn’t give up a moisturizer. The defenage is a serum and not overly moisturizing. It goes on last because there are some ingredients so large that if you put a moisturizer on top, the moisturizer wouldn’t be able to penetrate. Hope that helps!

Omg! So crazy that the one perfume that i cannot stand is your favorite. Luckily, i bought 10m, not full bottlel, but this is the only perfume that i hate.
Not crazy at all….everyone’s noses are different. There are definitely scents that most everyone loves that I personally can’t stand. Just comes down to personal preference.

This was helpful. I do Alastin spf daily, that you recommended. Love it, and works well for me. I will check out a couple of these products. Especially, the retinol, and lux vit. C
Janice, I also use Alastin SPF, the tinted one. I do love it so so much BUT I ironically did message Mandy to ask if she had any tips for that neverending "moist" feeling that I get in warmer months. I'm afraid to use powder as I'm not very good with makeup and I REALLY love the finish but it does feel like atoms stick to me and I can't handle it. Do you have that "issue"?
@@laurenelliott5175 no, not really, but my skin is really dry. However, in hot and humid summers in Fla., I lightly powder over it, for sure.

Hey Lauren...I must have missed the message. I don't personally have an issue with the tackiness, but it is definitely something that can be lightly powdered. I often wear it under a powder foundation and nothing else and love the finish. I would search for a more matte formula is you are still having issues with stickiness. The supergoop mattescreen is a great one!
Allies of Skin has a retinaldehyde product too. I haven’t been able to find the retinal percentage though. I still use this but rotate with my tret and other retinal (Medik8, Avene, Suzan Obagi). I might need to do half face applications to narrow my number of different options down but right now like all of these. The Medik8 Vitamin C looks nice so might need to try that and rotate it in. I love the Allies Vitamin C. The consistency reminds me of Skinceuticals C E Ferulic. I’ve tried the Truth Treatment C but not a fan.
I have seen the Allie’s of skin one but I think it’s a moisturizer if I am remembering correctly. I love a retinal serum, so I think that is why I haven’t tried but I definitely need to research more. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi love your videos. Read on someone else’s post that you have to use the Defenage cream along with the serum for the defenage serum to work. Is this true? I am interested in the serum but already have amazing moisturizers that I love and would not want to sacrifice. If you have any knowledge on this please share.
Hi there! I personally don't think it matters what moisturizer you use. And it's their highest selling product which tells me that more people buy it than the moisturizer, and I have no doubt they are getting great results. I know I don't see any difference when I use it with the moisturizer from them (which is great BTW) or with another moisturizer. Hope this helps!

One more question. Does Defenage work better than growth factors?
They are really so different that it's hard to say if they work better or not. For a minimal routine, you definitely don't need both, but there is no harm in using both either.
I work all day in an office & see very little sunlight, so I dont wear spf. Just dont see point & my makeup lasts better without it. I would like to try the peptide moisturiser.
It’s definitely a personal choice. If I get in a car to go anywhere my spf is on. My husband has had almost 50 stitches in his back from two surgeries removing skin cancer. Because of that, and for well aging, I choose to wear it daily. ❤️
