I’ve been using the serum for about 18 months, and I absolutely love it. It’s so easy to incorporate into my nighttime routine. I’ve also started using the eye cream & hand lotion, both of which are awesome. I received a TON of samples when I placed my orders, so I’ve used all of the other products, as well. The only product I didn’t get along with was the 2 minute mask, but that’s really just because I have the world’s most sensitive skin when it comes to physical exfoliators. I can use Good Genes or the Dr Gross pads (my HG for 10+ years!) once or twice a week and be fine, bc the second there’s any physical exfoliation, my skin swiftly and absolutely rejects it. 😂
Thanks for the reviews on the products, Mandy! They are more pricey than a lot of skincare brands, but I would really encourage people to at least try the 8-in-1 serum (even just the smaller size will give you an idea if you like it, IMO), because it truly has made a difference in my skin!

I have many of their products but guilty of not being consistent using them. My issue is that I have really dry skin and the moisturizer is not enough for me in the colder weather. I have used the serum with other moisturizer and love that it goes on last so you don’t need to worry about effectiveness with other serums. The 1 product I have purchased several times. I do like that the moisturizer comes in a pump and they released a fragrance free version but wish they would come out with a rich version! They usually have some great specials for Mother’s Day!
Hey Marie! My skin has been pretty dry lately and the moisturizer still works out for me, but that may be because I use a lot of other hydrating products in the routine too. I can see that it can be super lightweight though. So glad you love the serum! It’s the best! 💕💕
@@MandyDavisMUA I have quite a few years on you so my skin needs lots of hydrating products especially living in the Midwest. I have mixed the moisturizer in with another more hydrating one to use it. Eventually we will warm up so maybe it will be enough on its own in the summer. I am not opposed to fragrance in products and often enjoy them but didn’t like the moisturizer with fragrance. Initially they only had that so happy when my wish for a fragrance free one was released. Crossing my fingers for a more intense moisturizer some day because I do like the simplicity and flexibility of their system.

I’ve purchased the kit a couple of times. Also I loved the cleanser..I only got a sample but it’s the best in terms of texture & effectiveness. Yes, I do love it! I do use it in conjunction with my red light device for scalp, and I have seen new growth.

The price of these products make them out of range for 99.9% of the human population. 😮
Wow….that’s a very specific percentage. I would love to know the study that shows that. If you checked the website, they have multiple sizes for as low as $9 for those that would like to try them and see for themselves if they want to spend the $$. There are MANY different types of budgets and MANY different price points for skincare. If this is out of the budget, the great thing is, there are plenty of other things that will work. 😉
Yes they’re expensive but you literally need one pump of the serum for face& neck so it seriously lasts a long time. It’s a pea size. My tns was 6 weeks max and is pricier.
It really depends. Sure, it’s pricey, but they often have specials, and it eliminates the need for some products. A bottle of the serum lasts a long time, too. And if you are a rewards member, they have promos for extra points at times, which can be used for discounts, as well as the overall discount applied with every purchase, vs the non-member price.
If you don’t want to or aren’t able to purchase the products, that’s fine. We all have different budgets. But the products do work, so for those that are interested & able to purchase them within their budget, I’d definitely recommend them.

@@senseofwonder4734 - the sticker shock IS alarming for so many products! If you think something may be right for you and they have $9 samples, that's a way to go until you know it's right for you. It may NOT be (I LOVE getting a free or cheap sample of something stupid-expensive then not liking it) & there are lots of wonderful skin care products in the mostly affordable K-beauty arena. Mandy has some great videos on those too.
Can you tell a difference between the 8in1 and the Sente Dermal Pressed Serum you also rave about? I am a serum addict, but try to only keep about three in my rotation
I finally did it. After watching this video who knows how many times, I finally ordered the little 2 week "Fly Kit" to try it out. I'm hoping the 8-in-1 gets along with my skin, because it sounds amazing!

Hi Mandy-if I were to try and incorporate the 8 in 1 serum into my nighttime routine, where would it place if I was to use oils as well? Moisturizer-oil-serum? Also in comparison to the Alastin Restorative skin complex, where do you think the serum ranks? I'm not impressed by Alastin so I'm thinking about trading it out for the serum and giving that a shot.
I would personally use it under oils. I would be afraid you wouldn't get the whole benefit from the serum if you put it on top of such large molecules that are in oils. So I would do moisturizer, this and then an oil. And I like the Alastin, but if I had to choose, this one would win out for sure.

Mandy, do you use a toner after the cleanser ? Or do you go straight in with the eye cream then moisturizer and 8/1 serum?
You can definitely use a toner. I sometimes use a toner, sometimes an essence, sometimes both. I am currently using a mist that I am loving. I am posting my full nighttime routine using Defenage next week showing how you can incorporate other products within this routine.
How do you like this compared to NeoGenesis? And is this a medical grade skincare line? Nice video!
It’s hard to compare since my all time fave neogenesis product is more of a growth factor which is different than the 8 in 1. I like the defenage cleanser better than the neogenesis. I like the moisturizer the same but neogenesis does have more options depending on your skin type. And they have an eye serum where defenage is more of a cream. Hope this helps!

This was fabulous!! I love this brand but have only tried the trio. I was curious about their other products. I’m def gonna have to try their face wash! Have you seen or heard of the platinum version? It’s a professional grade version that’s sold to aestheticians. I was curious if you’ve tried it and if so what are your thoughts? Thanks for this review!! Defenage is so good and I didn’t even know about the defesins (sp?!). Lol
