I absolutely love Jerry Skinner. Thank you so much for your wonderful shows on history that the main stream media cannot touch and no where near as entertaining.
Wow what a great story and the music was great and you showing us things how they are today was really cool!! Another master piece Jerry!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Another example of your fine Craftmamship. The tone of your voice and attention to detail are second to none. Please keep them comming. I hope this finds you and your loved ones Healthy and Safe 🙏
Yes Jerry Yes. This is great . Nobody , and I mean nobody does this better than you good Sir. I never miss a video and have binge watched your videos multiple times. This is one I've been waiting for.
Great video, best example I've seen on UA-cam. Very well done. On a side note I'm grateful to have visited Deadwood many times before it was commercially strained by the casinos. Despite the town being previously burnt down the recreation, the No .10 saloon provided a authentic feel and atmospheric.
Thank you Jerry, another wonderful documentary. Many people wait for your documentaries and I am in the front of the line . You are incredible as a story teller. Thanks again Jerry, please keep em coming. Augie and Jill Blase 🤠
Great work can't get enough of your documentaries iv learned so much more from your work than anything else that's out there. Keep up the great work and be well..
Because insane, brainwashed liberals want to rewrite history. Just wait, a few decades from now they'll be saying that Wild Bill was really a black transvestite.
I just immediately clicked on it to watch it (didn't catch that it was a re-do) .....about 5 min into it, I started experiencing deja-vu and thought maybe I was alive back then !
I live about 5 miles from Troy Grove, Il. His birthplace. Every year (not in 2020), there is a big festival in honor or Wild Bill. RIP seemed like a good man
I love Jerry's accent as a Brit, I'm fascinated by American history and all things American. Preserving America's Wild West frontier era history is important and separating the fact from folklore fiction is often difficult as not much was documented well in some areas.
Jerry, as usual this is an excellent video and highly recommended, this one, as all of them are is really informative and answered many questions I had!! Best wishes, Anne
Mr. Skinner, I have greatly enjoyed sll of the videos of yours that I have seen. Thank you so very much for all the great work. You should come back to Tennessee sometime. I loved the wonderful video that you did on Loretta Lynn.Peace and roses,Deb the TN Scary Lady
Hello Jerry..... i just came cross your documentarys. Especially the old west i found them very interesting to listen also to watch. I have also been interesting in American history when i was younger and even now. Just like to say thank you for making these documentaries. From England🙏🙏
Annie Oakley was a great hit at the wild west show Learned how to use a gun to hunt for food for her young siblings Great video jerry Keep safe jerry during the pandemic of the Coronavirus
My family owned the same type of Smith & Wesson Number two (2) .32 long rimfire revolver that Mr. Hickok had on his person when killed by Jack McCall. It was the first revolver I ever shot years ago. The cartridges were still being manufactured by the CIL Canuck Canadian manufacturer in the late 1960s. A box of 50 copper cased smokeless powder long cartridges cost approximately $7.00. They weren't too hot.
Thanks for a true input into who James Butler Hickok was. So many mythical versions and overdone dramatizations of his death, but there's no need to change anything from the real story.
Pathetic right? UA-cam is dishonoring history by trying to pretend these things didn't happen. They'll censor a hanging but leave all kinds of other filth and trash on videos.
@@redcloudshaman2509 They don't tolerate truth, it gets in the way of their narrative and agenda. I believe George Orwell once wriote, "Who controls the past controls the future."

Jerry’s videos make history come alive for history buffs. Deadwood is an interesting place to visit. My husband and I were there several years ago and visited Hitchcock’s grave. 🙂
Hi Jerry, It's been a while since I left a comment on one of your videos. I gotta tell ya, listening to your voice, reminds me of the farm I grew up on in Nebraska... It's like coming home. Coming home to a better time and place. Good job and the best of luck to you.
My sister married a man from western NC he was great great grandchild of buffalo bill cody he was part cherokee and his name was cody blaylock. I heard alot of stories about him, anyway just a little peice of history twice or three times removed....
I had mentioned once in a documentary that bill did use his left arm as a resting place while aiming his pistol, now as I see in the painting, it does give it more credit.. Good vid 👍
I've enjoyed Deadwood 2x over the past 3 or 4 years. My son wanted to be there for his 21st bd, so we traipsed up from south Texas. So much to do in the area. Great documentary.
16:05 Boy, that Agnes looks rough. She looks like a man. 😳 Wild Bill should have stayed in Cincinnati! You certainly did not want him shooting at you. It was a death sentence. Great job, Jerry!
Very interesting Jerry! I remember when I was a kid the first wallet I bought myself had a picture of wild bill on the little package it came in. Guess it was a good marketing tool for them!
Over the years have watched all of your videos and you make them all so good and believable. How did you ever get started making these stories, and videos?. And I might say you have the perfect voice for these type history stories, Sir!. BTW, How old are you?.
Man, I live in Kansas now, there is so much wild west history. I went to Dodge City, and was so excited to be there.Lord, I think I am ready to back there. Because now, progress means going backwards, so why not?
A Jerry Skinner video, re-done or not, makes everything stop around here.....he's got my complete attention! :-)
I always trust Jerry to do a straight-up job of history on these old stories and I look forward to them.
This beats the history channel anyday, would not trade it for a pawn shop or an alien. Thanks Jerry
Agree .
I can understand the pawnshop, but not even for an alien?!
You said it...
This makes the history channel look
Old news.
Yeah I agree about the pawn shop show!!

Jerry....Thank you so much for another excellent story. Your work is absolutely fantastic!
Thanks Jerry for posting this. I visited Deadwood 14 years ago. Those were some rough times. I think I would have stayed clear of the bars.
Problem was, the bars and brothels were really the only two places available for entertainment.
Yes, you have the MOST interesting and cram packed historic offerings, thank you

I love watching your videos they are very informative and a great watch thank you jerry I do love to learn about the wild west
WHY would actual factual historically accurate history need to be censored by youtube?
The truth is not wanted anymore.
I was wondering the same thing.
Yeah, that really got me. UA-cam come on... don't be like Face Book!
Why would people cover faces with a non medical mask For a flue.
Because insane, brainwashed liberals want to rewrite history. Just wait, a few decades from now they'll be saying that Wild Bill was really a black transvestite.
Huge Wild Bill history fan. Thanks for this Jerry. Was very informative. Did Bill have any children?
Jerry I'm so glad to see you posting new content. Specially about Wild Bill (Censored) Hickok. Thanks again for your attention to historical accuracy.

The town's tourist industry is making more money off of Wild Bill than he made himself.
