Your sense of humor is fantastic. So enjoyable. I collected rocks too when I was a kid (1950's) and later became a geologist. Am now retired.
Great one Silas
when i was a kid my dad used too go looking for parts i went looking for the change under the rugs an seats )) gl
Not forgetting 8track stereo 😄
Fun treasure hunt Salis. You just never know what you may find. That unknown charger is for a vaping device. 👍🤙
Love the treasure hunts! Unfortunately here in Canada you can't get rid of pennies, as we don't mint them anymore, and the bank coin sorters don't take them. Biggest/best thing(s) I even found in an auction vehicle was a complete set of "Snap-On" tools in a pick-up truck lock box bolted onto the bed, worth big bucks if you use the "Snap-On" prices.
It's worth it to just open these videos to hear a cheerful "good morning, it's a fantastic day".
Don’t you just love digging through those old cars. My dad use to find all kinds of crazy stuff in those old cars. Just love your videos keep those adventures coming.
Awesome show Silas. Love going thru cars for junk. I listen to cd's all the time., i like that Johnny Cash album. Like that green 57 or 58 ford behind you at the end of video.
I so enjoy your positive attitude. Thanks for the fun.
Love looking thru junk cars. My girlfriend will go with when I go to get parts and she looks for change. Always something.👍
Money and a toy car, bonus!
That bag with the rocks in them would be good to use when collecting change.
Keep up the treasure hunts, very entertaining . Your a lucky man.
We all like treasure hunts. Thank you.
In my day.. the old man buy’s a FM converter and attaches it to the underside of the dash.. very cool for the time!
Blastin those new FM tunes through a single speaker!
I like this type of video. I once spent 45 minutes going through the interior f a Nissan or Toyota and when I was done I found $ 19 in change. This was at an E Z Pull yard.
The proper term for the pool stick is cue. I love this type of video by the way!!
Water is the universal solvent, and if you add a little dish soap, a lot of oily/sticky stuff will clean off. Just pour some into each scummy armrest clump of coins, or pry them out and toss them into a Ragu jar with some soapy water. When done, drain the jar and take it home for a final soaking/washing/rinsing before taking them to the bank.
The 3 tokens are anime characters. The funny looking one is Pikachu, the fox-like ones I don't know the name of, but my daughter (older than you) would. Probably common stuff, though some high-end stuff exists for collectors.
Blue nitrile gloves have come back down in price occasionally at Harbor Freight. They won't stop a needle, but they'll keep unknown sticky messes away from any scratches and cuts you have. You should do a night-time edition of the treasure hunt, using a UV flashlight. Or maybe not.
The transformer mask is you! I'm sure your children can play with it after a good cleaning and disinfecting! Change is always good to find and extra tools come in handy now and then! Have a good 1! Take care.
When I was growing up, a friend's dad had a 1960 Mercury Park Lane with a 45 rpm record player / changer mounted on the center hump.
Wow...I've never heard of that.
Hot stuff in the 60's was a 8 track tape player!
These treasure hunt videos are great fun, keep em coming Silas.👍
I always loved doing this!! When I worked at salvage yard. They would still be on the wrecker when I'd go through theme! Lol. One time found over $10.00 in quarters. That had been on the dash of a early 70s Toyota truck for the past 30 something years going by the tag. It was funny they we're backed in to the dash!!! Good time's!!
You should dump boiling water into the area where the sticky change is if you can. Also when I worked at a tow yard I kept a colander in my office specifically for sticky change. I love watching what you find in cars. Keep up the awesome videos.
Very cool! Thanks.
Great video, I love your vehicle treasure hunts. Found some pretty cool stuff. Beautiful day for an adventure. Always happy to see a new video from you. Stay safe and GOD bless
You always do good videos. This one showed the absolute discussting condition some people let the interior of their car get to....amazing pig sty's.
Love your treasure hunt videos. Would love for you to put all the change you dig out of these cars in a bucket (for shits and giggles), and see how much you have after say a years time.
Vape charger on that USB device
👍 Thanks for the info!
Hi been watching you for a few months now.
I would like the surprise of popping the trunk doesn't matter if it's empty or not. I'm sure you probably find dope and guns in the spare tire wells. The treasure hunts are fun!
i would love to exploere that place so many cool cars and stuff,i evny your job
What a treasure adventure. It's cool.
Get you a rock tumbler for the sticky change. Use a couple of drops of dawn dish soap with a little water. Let them spin for about 20 minutes. You always put out great videos.
I cleaned my car out mid winter £160 in notes and change i deliver local chippy part time at nite long side my day job always hear money fall out of my pockets, mostly dark never bother looking for it. Got half of my living room carpet payed for👍🏻
It’s weird that people would leave so much change and tools it the cars, brand new stuff also. Thanks for the upload.
My friend who worked in the wrecking yard said roll over and accidents are all the ones they left all the good stuff in pure logic😮
I always enjoy your videos. You keep things real.
The screw type charger is for a e-cigarette charger.
I like the treasure hunt videos. I wouldn't save the rocks. I woulda dumped them out in a low spot in your driveway. When you do these videos Silas, get a can and put dish soapy water in it and soak those coins. It will dissolve that soda and junk holding the coins together. Another tip for some toys is run them thru the dishwasher. Cleans and sanitizes anything. Thin plastic may melt though. Hot Wheels should be fine, put in the silverware basket.
Amen
Silas this was fun! I am intrigued by that unusual cab over truck behind you at the end of the video.....please show it to us in detail when you can! Thanks
Too much fun, if there is such a thing. 😃😺🙈
Thanks Silas!
👍👍👍
I like your "Super Crusher" mask. Be sure and let your kids see you with it on!!!
the charger you found is for a vape cigarette. Loved the video.
Morning Silas, going through those cars tells alot about the people that owned them....be safe!! God Bless!!!!
Just pour some water in the cup holder with the sticky change and it will loosen up then put it in a jar with hot soapy water and shake and rinse let dry spend LOL
I crushed the car about 30 min after filming 😆
That funky looking charger is for a vape pen, also I have found two - thousand dollars in quarters under the passenger side seat so I always check them, with gloves because of the itching 😃. I used to work in a salvage yard as a loader operator.
Hi!!! Treasure Hunts are always entertaining and interesting...
I think being at your yard would be like a treasure hunt everyday with how many cars come and go!?!
Thanks 4 sharing!
Hahah!! I'd roll that first car over to see what drops out.
When I worked at a junkyard, everyone rushed to check the newly added cars to see what was in them.
When I was kid driving, we had the under dash Pioneer Super-Tuner FM-8Track in 1980.
Cash in Trash - wow - Great Finds ! When You get all those Old Scrap Cars and Trucks You will find all kinds of Goodies - well that's how it works ! Another Great Video and Loving it ! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!! PS = love that Yellow Mask - it suits You -ha !!!!
Use to work when younger for class 8 truck dealership for trade ins or repossessions. Man did I find the coins, tools, tire chaines and power tools. Loved every part of that job, but wore surgical gloves, some were nasty!!!
I used to work in an auto salvage auction. Those sticky coins just pry them out dump them in a cup or bucket pour in cleaner and let them sit for a while even a couple days. Shake it up a few times. They'll clean up. I inventories over 33,000 cars one year. My part time job was those coins.
Your mask, it’s you!! 🤣🤣Thanks for sharing! Love to watch! 🏆🏆❤️❤️🙏🙏 Gods Blessings to you!! 😀😀
Senco is pretty good brand
They are called pool Que’s. Thanks for your time in making all your different types of videos. They are great to watch entertaining and interesting as well. Top man.
put your sticky change in a cup of white vinegar and let it soak! Then pop them in a cup of ammonia!
Today you showed us a whole new meaning to the saying "there's money in junk cars." You could keep a spray bottle of all-purpose cleaner with you to spray on those coins that are stuck together in the pockets and consoles. That should soften and loosen them up, and then put them in a small bucket or a plastic container and rinse them clean in a sink later. I really enjoyed this treasure hunt video and can't wait for the next one. I almost forgot. Use an old pair of salad tongs to search through the debris and trash in those cars. That will help avoid touching gross and grody stuff as well as protect you from needles, broken glass, and murderers knives.😅
Salis that was great as always loved it thank you for sharing and your time was awesome never miss a video thank you. 😊
Thanks for the adventure have a great day
Senco is a good gun. Worth $150 if it works. Framed alot of houses with a senco
It’s good to do what you enjoy.
dam Sylas i never touch anythink without gloves! good find lot of fun
Really. Nice. Nail. Gun. !!!!! Yes.
New title suggestions..
People Are Pigs!
How the Other Half Lives!
😂
I do junkyard treasure hunting as well. Found $25 in change and a 12mm blue point 🔧!
Genie makes a universal garage door opener with a knob inside. You just keep turning the knob and clicking the button till it works there could be a flaw in that could there😂😢
senco ...nice !!!
simple to rebuilt ...we sell em everytime we list em ...workin or not !!!!
please keep doin videos wearing the transformers glasses ,,,LOL
Surprising some of these vehicles look like they are in good shape except for being dirty. Love it when you find cash. 👍 I like to see the cars being crushed. 💪
Back in the 1980s I bought a lot of used police cars for work. They were always good for a few 38 rounds.
Back in the mid 70s when I first started college I got a job working at a large salvage yard. I was the flunkie so I was sent on scavenger hunts. First get jacks from the trunks. Then the spares. Batteries, carbs, you get the idea. Any money went to the boss. No exceptions. Any tools I found I got to keep.
You would find all sorts of stuff in the impound cars.
One of the most bizarre things I ever found was a car full of bras. Teeny tiny ones to ones we could have used on the milk cows back home. They all seemed to be all new and unworn. All colors and styles. Who knows, maybe they were a "Fuller Bra" sales person. Weird.
Winter settled in and that job ran out so I got a job assembling those replacement battery cable ends.
Square head bolt, 1/2 inch nut. Two 1/4 inch bolts with cable strap and nuts. Mount them to a cardboard sheet by the nut that pinched the terminal closed. Piles of nuts, bolts, straps and lead terminals. All day for the princely sum of 4 bucks an hour.
I moved on from that too.... LOL!
Cheers
Terry
Hi Silas I just bought a Hayman Reece hitch like that, 3500kg cost $120 Australian, which is about $82 USA! I worked in a wrecking yard, used to find some good stuff! 🇦🇺🍺🤣
That red cabover is worth some money!
Funny you could see all the HAVC and radio Control labels warn off from the nails in that car you found the nails in! I bed by the cigarette burns on the seat....it was a cigarette that started the fire! Lol
Always enjoy the videos, all the adventures around the farm's, and you day to day goings-on 😀
Wow, hadn't seen the Porsche 928 before. Nice!
Something you might consider for the treasure hunt would be a cordless shop vacuum for collecting the change particularly the stuck together and dirty stuff just a thought great videos though
Interesting to see what is left behind. Enjoy your videos!
That charger dohicky you called it is for an electronic cigarette. Keep the video coming
That black looking charger is for a vape pen. it screws on to the end of the vape pen and you plug the other end to a USB outlet
When I was a kid cars didn't have a radio, or it was a push button am radio, or am fm, or am fm 8track.
When I stoped installing it was cd/ mp3 and usb with Bluetooth.
Dam your young.
That black mask is YOU! Wear that when guys show up and you are closed and they won’t be there long. Great vid as always. Might want to consider at least some nitrile gloves to wear. Just a thought.
I love these videos I like to see all the findings
Two Bar Bats!
Fun little video. I guess you never really know what you will find.
I fully understand that gloves suck for picking small items. I use a glove on my left hand for digging and a thin glove or bare hand on the other. Try it out, should keep you safer and make you faster. Keep up the good work. Show your beautiful family.
I miss digging threw scrap vehicles I use to get so much change
It's interesting what you find in some of the cars 👍🇭🇲🇺🇸
Pop the back seat out, ive found 100s of dollars under back seats, people always find one spot for loose change and fill it.
That's what i do with "dirty" money also. Just throw it on the ground and pick it up after a few weeks haha.
My favorite thing you showed today wasn't something you found, it was on the trailer when you were showing your finds. Those green implements. People make them into flowers. At least that is what my husband made for me.
Keep Up The Good Work
All those coins you found you can spend a half a day at the car wash🤪
I love these kind of vids
I think that little black charger is for a vape pen.
Thanks for sharing
My son and I found a junkyard and we got a bunch of old Owner's Guides (50s-70s) and sold them on Ebay.
Great fun videos. Keep them coming. You've got a super fan in me
i think those round things may be pogs.
You should also check those crown royal bags I've found a bunch of stuff in those like money and jewelry
