Thank you soo much! This video was very helpful! I was having alot of problems with the machine and thanks to your video it's all fixed now!
Thanks for your kind comments, I’m glad the video helped you.
I think it will be strong as my old Bosch! Nice tutorial.
telosfd Thanks, glad it helped.
You are golden man you truley helped to install the same machine in my kitchen 😀 thanks
Many thanks, glad you found it helpful.
I was watching this to see how you installed the pipes as that is what installation is. But it was still helpful seeing how you put the plastic pieces into the back after you took the screws out
Many thanks, glad you found it helpful.
@@baldytimsreviews8204 But the overarching point is you skipped the installation part in a 24 minute, 2 video mini-series on... installation. 😂
Baldy Tim, YOU THE MAN!
All good, but the 240V 3-pin electrical cord is too short!!! Is it easy to fit a longer cord/plug? Assuming I'll have to access the 240Vin from underneath the machine, as the back only has an inspection hatch (to change drive belt)?
What brand of washing machine was your old one and I’ve also brought one watching your review seems very good so I will see tomorrow when it arrives
Hi, we had a Hotpoint before but decided to try a Bosch this time. Glad my video was helpful to you.
@@baldytimsreviews8204 thanks for replying
What could be the shortest time to wash on 40 degrees and 1000 rpm??
Does it not come with a waste outlet guide? The U-shaped plastic thing? I just have a standpipe for drainage so I’d need that.
Hi, yes it does come with that.
Hi are you doing any new washing machine videos soon
Hi, did you notice the drum was notchy from new? When spun by hand - roughly every 1/4 revolution...
Hi - no not at all, the drum on our machine feels smooth as silk when spun by hand, so sounds like a fault on yours I’m afraid.
@@baldytimsreviews8204 Thank you for your reply.
Oh... sounds like I might have an issue - never noticed this on any other machine.
It is silky smooth, then it grabs - feels a bit like a magnetic field on a motor.
P.s. obviously with the power disconnected.
Many thanks again
It may well be the motor poles grabbing the magnetic field, especially if it’s happening at regular intervals. May be worthwhile talking to a service engineer, but if your machine is running fine with no funny noises, it’s most likely fine.
@Ryan did you find out why is that happening? I just bought the same washing machine, and it is reproducible too.
@@srnasrna5101 Hi, no not yet. I've just been using it, however what I plan to do is remove the belt to isolate the mystery...
Cheers
Can you do service cycle
Bolt removal is it mandatory?
Hi yes it is, the machine won’t work properly unless you remove them
Baldy Tim's Reviews thanks for ur kind reply
Sorted
Why do you put washing machine in kitchen??
Danny It’s in the kitchen as that’s where the old one was, plus it’s the only place in our house where it can go, cheers.
Yeah, seems strange to me. Most houses in New Zealand and Australia have a separate laundry.
