so my school has a bosch classixx 1400 express (brushed) and they have had it for a while like more than 5 years and its very reliable! If it does reach the end of its days I might recommend it to my school. Btw whqts the model number?

hi Sir In my new series 4 8kg front load machine from bosch, after speed reduced cotton program ended, the machine beeped once not 3 times, and instead of typing end it showed 0:10 and unlocked the door. despite everything related to laundry was ok, i wonder why it behaved that way, any idea, please?

I’m a professional upholsterer and have used one of these for 10 years or more, I can get small sofas, wing chairs , chaise longue, 6 large dining chairs in with ease! And can put the seats back in when I want to use it for social. I also use mine for camping. Great vehicle.

Did you guys ever used prewash function? How? It doesn't appear to have it.

Nice one mate, I had a 2016/2017 one and it worked pretty well, although it didn't last that long. In November 2023 we discovered that it was making a extremely loud painful banging noise when spinning and a rough rubbing noise when agitating apparently the drum spider broke and it was so bad that it couldn't be repaired so now of 24/3/24 it will get dismantled in a hardwaste removal :(

Can anyone say if this is normal? I bought exactly this model last week. When I start from off, and turn the wheel to any position, it gives out after 2 seconds a loud "clack", more like a Bang. I have not yet started the program. The sound is like an electrical "bang" discharge. However, the machine seems to work Ok. THEN, during the pump phase to get rid of the water, the pump does NOT give out a Grrrrrrrrrrrr sound, i.e. a continuous pumping sound, like the other two old machines we have, but more of a cyclic: pump on, pump off, pump on, pump off etc. The water disappears, but it is loud because it is on off on off etc. Are these two above things normal, or is it broken "as delivered" i.e. is a faulty machine?

Just bought a Bosch Serie 4 machine. Absolutely brilliant machine!

The new Series 4 version is about 4 times more quiet. I'm actually very impressed. Just bought it yesterday. 2024 Feb 10th wash dryer version

All good, but the 240V 3-pin electrical cord is too short!!! Is it easy to fit a longer cord/plug? Assuming I'll have to access the 240Vin from underneath the machine, as the back only has an inspection hatch (to change drive belt)?

I got one. The seating floor plan should have copied vauxhall where rear seats fold flat down onto the floor. Arm rests are pathetic.

A very nicely done video, thank you. It has a kind of reassuring, homely (or in American English: homey 😉) feeling to it. It's the kind of touch that makes it feel like it is an average Joe Bloggs like myself making it, when in fact to successfully pull that off requires some not inconsiderable professional skills. Bosch WAN24064BY, 7 kg...big vibrations, rattle before spinning (minute 8:23 of the video) and before the machine stops...removed the transport screws...the air bubble ruler indicates well... what can it be? thanks

I'm actually always wondering: Why are there people out there, who give such videos a dislike? I mean, people or in this case a couple take their time to record a video, explaining and showing their washing machine, so others can take a look at it prior to buying it - but yet some people just dislike it. Like I don't even understand what surface such videos could give someone, to actually dislike it. Anyways, thanks for the video. I ordered a Series 4 as well, a newer one but should be roughly the same.
