This 14 year old eclectus parrot has been coming to Bird Vet Melbourne for some time. He has regular checkups including blood tests in order to monitor his health, in particular the condition of his liver.

I’m desperately looking for help for my cockatoo. It was born with a birth defect, where the lower beak grows over the upper beak. Can you please guide me as to how to trim it? I take him to the vet, but it would be more affordable, if I can learn how to do it myself. I am handicapped with limited income, and will do without to take him to the vet. I just don’t wanna keep doing that, if I can learn how to do it myself. He’s very loving,loves to give kisses and loves to cuddle. Please help, thank you.
