Mike, great video. I've got the WG384 40v 14" and it has done all of the homeowner style tasks that I've thrown at it so far. One small gripe is that the bar oiler leaks significantly when not in use. I've taken it apart and everything appears to be in order so now I just take the bar oil back out when done, and put a pig mat under it when storing.

About to drop the WG385 brushless 18 m/s- with the worst camera angles that might get an additional video in time they are that bad :-P lol - that chsinsaw is a real different kettke of fish, the bar oiler may be because of the oil viscosity. Possibly try a thicker oil? I also noted when I had my space heater on the other day that my small pot of oil on my workbench from the WG325 video auto siphoned itself from the bottle contents heating up pushed it around the neck and then created an auto syphon and leaked the whole bottle onto my drip tray because - well I don't trust oil bottles :-P lol

Perfect video Mike. Covers all the bases - and reassuring for a novice buyer!

I'm sure you will get on fine with it, however if you need any questions answering then the worx uk fan club is an ideal place to ask even the most seemingly silly of questions, or ask me direct, always willing to help out any way I can.

I'm a carpenter, I'd like to have a lightweight chainsaw with a short bar like this and the power of the worx nitro wg385, any recommendations? Just buy the wg385 and put a shorter bar and chain on? Would still be heavy tho 🤔

Chainsaws are ultra cool, potentially deadly and dangerous but eliminate so much manual labour it is unreal!! I get the no need bit, I have similar lack of need with hedge cutters, though do abuse my pole hedge cutter as a real good way of dealing eith nettles and brambles without sending them flying like it would with a strimmer.
