rudy's badder than everyone imagined, you'd never know just how great he is just blending in with all that great stuff because the average listener just does'nt hear it ,even if you've played for 25 years unless you're right there, and it always holds true with the greats, its about experience, ozzys no fool you can bet your last 5 bucks on that, if randy says he's the man don't think twice , forget about it, honestly i was embarrassed just how good these guys are and never really thought about either of them except rudy because i read a couple times randy hand picked him, it should be noted though that i play guitar so what few lines i used off bass comes from my learning a getty line or a heavy bass sounding crossover record from an early santana hit but you can see just how serious and dedicated these guys really are and rudy ,wow he knows way more about scales and how they work than me by a longshot and i learned them all with riffs included from every pentatonic to every major scale and trying to figure out how to incorporate all these lydian mixolidian dorian and every other damn scale that i still don't understand the mechanix behind , shit i was just as excited as the other guy was just listening to rudy talk. you know you just never know, well i have to say that was not time wasted and a long overdue props to rudy, the man really can, no question
