I have been very pleasantly surprised by the Soundcore Boom 2 cause it gives you a lot of sound in a relatively compact package and it's very affordable too… making this a great speaker for summer 2024. Now the Soundcore Boom 2 sounds very impressive all on its own… but if you get two and pair them up, they sound even more impressive… so impressive that they actually give big speakers like the JBL Boombox 3 and Sony XG500 a real run for their money.

TBH, going to the beach or somewhere the soundcore boom makes sense with the handle. While the others are portable, they seem more like something you'd grab to the pool. When it comes to outdoor speakers, from one speaker, nobody can expect "a night club" experience. So I think there are other things to consider, battery life, durability. If you are at a pool, potentially you are close to a power outlet to charge your speaker, etc. If I'm at the beach, do I really need massive 360 sound or something to hear near my beachtowel? It seems like each speaker is geared towards a niche.
If the room is not tooo big, the BB3 can actually deliver a night club experience. Especially if you use a custom EQ like the built in one from the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
I prefer the Sony speaker. But then again, I do like them warm and dark 😅

3:10 Gymcaddy If you're playing speakers in tws in the real world, do you expect someone to have one Boom 2 so close to the other one it covers the other's tweeter? As far as the Echo TWS is already separating the left and right channel's but Soundcore does add some enhancements to there's. If you have them probably spaced out, you'll hear the mixing of the music a lot better in other words you'll hear some characteristics in the song that isn't on the other channel left or right channel making it sound like it's playing games with your ears. Another thing to really take advantage of on any Soundcore speaker you have to custom eq to get the most out of it. "In Thanos voice." Looks like I have to do part two myself😈
Sound tests are recorded in two parts. First part is where audio I recorded with binary microphones. Speakers are properly placed. Second part is for visual only.
@@GYMCADDY I would definitely give disclosure to that as it can confuse new people, but I do recall you mentioning that in a post or video about upgraded mics awhile ago. Another thing is that your binaural microphones as of now, cuts out a lot of bass and some midrange, treble as well. If you can play with the settings on the mics and calibrate it from what you hear with your own ears from the recordings I think that would also help out.

Ether Boom 2, Motion Boom+ or BB3. The Xtreme 4 is a giant waste of money in my opinion. It gets destroyed in every way by the BB3 except portability. But if portablility is important to you, rather get the Motion Boom+ or Boom 2, that are extremly close to the Xtreme 4 sound wise, while being much more affordable. Motion Boom+ even beats the Xtreme 4 in some applications.

Pointless test, why do Soundcore and sony have on bass boost options a, jbl plays on, custom? Either let everything play on the standard settings or we give each one a bass boost.

the microphone is very bad for this man...can t even notice the bass or clear sound...it sounds in headphones like on a phone speaker....need a better microphone, cool video tho
