And with this, the Rattlers Summer Series comes to an end with a 1-5 record finishing last in the standings with their sole victory coming in the first game. After watching every game, it seemed to me like each game they played was continuously worse than their last. It was very frustrating because the team seemed to always come out strong and get an early lead only to lose it by half time and then completely putter out by the end of the third quarter. Very poor ball management, abysmal passing and questionable shot selection plagued the team throughout the tournament and was reflected in the standings. With an almost completely new roster and new head coach it wasn't surprising for the team to play different from last year, but it was definitely a disappointing display. Hopefully next year we see some consistency in the roster, and with more games to be played in a regular season (hopefully?) rather than a single tournament we will see improvement throughout the season.
