My father owns a 2010 Audi R8. He lets me drive it around the city all the time ! I love it because it is fast and luxurious. We have lots of people take pictures, film videos, and even come up to us and ask about it. It is most certainly a show stopping car. I would highly recommend this car to anyone !

Yes!! There are sooooo many houses with normal families. It's the fastest growing city in America. I lives in Henderson which is attached to Vegas and we just call it vegas anyway. Really not a difference. I love it out there. You can pretty much do whatever you want any time you want.

He took me around in the R8...at first I always liked watching videos of these cars, always wanted one, but never could justify spending $125,000 on a car, but after riding in it I will 100% buy it if I get the money!
Hi berindea, I went to Vegas for the first time in the 70s and I was so surprised to see houses and schools there! Yes, it is just like a regular city but now I am used to it. I hope you get to go there sometime because it is a fun place to visit for about 3 days. So much to see and it's best to walk up and down the strip so you will see everything. Beautiful Casinos too. Have fun.
i live in Connecticut, there's a massage therapist about 10 seconds away from my house, i just have noticed he parked this car last week on the parking lot sticking out just for a show. then again it was his, it's there everyday, the car looks amazing. No idea how and where he bought it.
yeah thats true, but dont forget that Jaguar and Land Rover where owned by Ford until recently ;)... they are unbelievable when they are actually working, amazing handling and it actually has some oomph! so much fun to go off -road in them!

there was one of these outside my house when i was leaving for work the other day! they're a lot wider than it seems. it was a bit of a squeeze to get past it in my car lol.
in fact when i was in boulder, colorado, the cars i would see driving after a blizzard would pretty much be only audi's. that sounds like true everyday driving to me...
@Pendemic To be honest: I haven't got much experience in snow with quattro, but I think that nearly all AWD System work well in snow. If you got the experience and references - I'm fine with your opinion, as said: I don't have much of it in snow.
@misterfantasmofan I'm afraid you're wrong sir. He downshifts from 3rd to 2nd then upshifts from 2nd to 5th. It's not really weird though when you have a high revving car. When I had an RX7 I'd take it up to redline in 2nd and skip all the other gears to go to fifth.

I just saw one of these in the traffic in Brisbane. Followed it for about 30 minutes (stupid traffic) and it's one hell of a sexy car! Talk about eyes turning. First I was behind it for a few Ks then I went for the side profile then got in front for a front profile! Then I had to come google it when I got home... Wish I had that sort of cash!
There is something sexy about this car! I'm not even a big AUDI Fan, But I love this ride. I don't care if the regular joe wouldn't really know what it was. If i had the money, it would definitely be in the running!

The MSRP price tag for the Audi R8 is $100,000 dollars or more depending on how much options you put into it. If you only make 100 grand a year, then it would definitely take you sometime to be able to afford this car, unless you REALLY want it, you can still get it.

why do you compare the two? just because they both have gear in their name and involve cars on the show doesn't mean they're anything alike. they're as different as night and day, and i love them both.

I think it's plenty of power, but they do make a 5.2 V10 525hp version which is from the Gallardo.
This should had been used as the new Knight rider car.
