If you're watching this review and thinking about purchasing anything smaller than this unit for filling car tires, remember you must use a car jack to lift wheel before applying pressure to avoid overheating unit and eventual malfunction. Hope this helps as I have a small 12-volt inflator and I almost made this mistake before noticing how hot it was getting.
yeah go by the PSI on the tire an add 3 pounds cold .. you'll get better tire wear...too inflated an it'll wear out the center part of the tread earlier...on radial tires they're suppose to look a tad under-inflated .. back in the bias-ply tire days you topped it off to take out the sag but not these days...
I just picked up the newest model of this at Home Depot. Mine will inflate car tires but when I tried blowing up a basketball the Digital readout says 120psi and won’t read the basketball pressure and won’t inflate. What am I doing wrong?
Any luck? The new unit looks nice online. I see 120psi is the max so wondering if it can't really go that high. Would setting it lower, say 110 make it work? Any air escaping while it's pumping?
Have you tried this for sports balls with the sports needle? Whenever I plug it in, set the psi to 10psi or whatever... I hit the start button.... It pumps for just a few seconds... Then dies.... Any idea why that may be happening?
Steve Gray dude I had the same thing happen to me, what I ended up doing was just putting it on like 30 psi and just taking it off when when I saw the ball had enough air
Your engine is in the front of the car so the front tires are going to look like they have less air then the rears and you should run what it says on the sticker inside of the door never just add air because you don't like the way it looks get a tire pressure gauge and check the PSI first then add air accordingly.
There's a 2 year warranty from date of purchase. Bring back to Home Depot to return. www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/02/0271c253-6cea-4f94-b46d-483c9cdd0644.pdf
It has 2-year warranty which I would check. Let us know if you did and how Husky was in handling your defective unit. As of April 2020 mine is still going strong! Used on my bike and car about twice a year.
I don't think any of the manufactures of these car tire air pumps are worth buying. All of the reviews that I've read on Amazon and other sites are pros and cons. They all seem to heat up, and none of them seem to last a very long time. They need to find an American manufacturer that can build a reliable, long lasting product, because most of them are made in China, and aren't worth the room they take up in your car.

Dope review Dragon Gunner. Just picked mine up from th local HD here in Bronx, NY today 🇺🇸😁💪
Looks like a good inflator. I'm thinking of getting one.
I Love this Machine! :-)
I have this one works great 👍
Where is your tire gauge to check the accuracy of the digital gauge on the inflator? Also if you want 32psi why did you set it at 42psi?

I do not recommend it
I have this. The car power adapter stopped working after 9 months.
thesearemydogs Get a new 12 volt fuse then. It goes inside the car adapter.
Every car under the sun tells you inside the door what the recommended inflation is ....
What kind of air you using....
is 30 psi good?
