Tearing Apart the 2009 Cummins Engine on a 2010 Peterbilt semi-Truck! Pt.1

We have finally started working on the 2010 Peterbilt 387 semi-truck ISX Cummins engine! This engine has a huge issue with wiping out a rod bearing damaging the crank on the engine. This now calls for a total rebuild of the entire engine. We are starting in today's video with dismantling the fuel, intake and exhaust system on the sides of the engine. We had to remove the fuel pumps, solenoids, turbo, EGR and many other components to the engine. This was actually a lot easier than I expected to be honest, but the main challenging coming is removing the cylinder head and engine block from the truck!
