hi dear, thanks for the vdo. I heard we can defer our semester once we pass, can you share where I can find about the 6 months scholarship deferring because I didn't see in the guideline.
Please how do we apply for that embassy track and is it different courses we put for the three universities and when the application is out .. how do we select it
Have you looked at the application documents yet? To choose the university, I’d advise you check the documents and the supported programs per university, and then check out the university and department pages of universities that have your preferred majors before you select which ones to apply to
Thank you for this video. Please does GKS accept unofficial transcripts (student's copy)? Also, can you use your Statement of Result if your certificate isn't ready?
@hopeleticia Thank you for your response. Yes, it was. My school doesn't give students official transcripts. It can only be sent directly to the new school. I honestly thought they accept student's copy and then I just notarize it. All the same, thank you very much. ♥️♥️
@@SuccessOkanii think you can also try notarizing the student copy, after getting something like an official stamp from the school. Something to show that it’s verified by the school
Hello.. thank you for your guidance, I want to ask about medium of instruction of our major course.. I didn't understand about (korean/english ) as medium of instruction offered by many universities under GKS.. if you know about it plz guide 😢
Hi! Thank you so much for your video! I have a question about selecting universities. I keep hearing that Type A universities are generally harder to get into, but some Type B universities can be just as challenging. Do you have any tips on how to decide which universities are better to choose? I understand it’s recommended to pick at least one Type B university, but what if the Type B option I choose is also difficult to get into? Thank you for your help!
While it’s advisable to pick at least one Type B university, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is an “easy” choice, you still need to give them your best. Focus on finding universities with programs that best match your academic goals. That way you can build a strong application, Statement of purpose and study plan because you know what you’re talking about and your plan is clear, because it all matters regardless of the university. Hope this helps :)
Hello Hope. You mentioned something to do with verification of Passlips and transcript at UNEB and foreign affairs, so do I take originals or photocopies. How many photocopies do I take there and also,, what could be the pay that is required for them to be verified. Will be glad to hear from you
I think you can take both originals (incase needed) and photocopies which will be certified. At foreign affairs they charge 20000Ugx per document. The number of photocopies you need depends on which track you are using. University track needs one set of documents and embassy track needs one set of originals (photocopies with original stamps you received) and 3 sets of photocopies (you can photocopy the photocopies with the stamps). Also try reading through the guidelines for clearer information on the number of sets required. Hope this helps
O meaning when im checking University in masters column O mention what's this means and one more department is major right or major is different or field of study division im confused
O - means the department/major is available for the specific grade, either masters or phd. So if it’s under masters, that means you can do masters in that major. X means it’s not available. Majors are under the department. So one department can have many majors. For example the Department of IT can have Software Engineering major, Data Science major etc. However, some graduate schools just have departments and don’t break down into majors. For this case, you look into the professors in the department and check what they teach as well as their research interests. Does this make sense?
You can either submit to the embassy if you apply via embassy track or submit to a university of your choice if you choose university track. Hope this is clear.
hey thanks for this video, i am facing a challenge of my diploma graduation certificate, i have graduated already but my institute takes 2 years to produce the graduation certificates, but transcripts are ready, what should i do?😢 what should i submit?
I think you can contact the embassy and confirm with them which documents you can use as replacements. But master’s applications require you to have a bachelor’s degree. With the bachelors degree if you didn’t graduate yet you can do use the certificate of expected graduation as long as it falls within the timeline given. Hope this helps :)
