Another nice video, Chris. I appreciate you letting people know the frame rates and resolution. The 1080p looks pretty awesome at 60fps! I have to get out and do some video with my vintage Takumar lenses!! All the best in 2024!
Thanks for watching! The X-S10 is a really good camera for both video and photo! But if you are looking for 10-bit color and 4K60p in video, manual control dials for slow photography, the X-T4 is a better option.
Hi, really love that cinematic look! Please specify, how did you get anamorphic aspect ratio? Just did shots in more distance and then apply 2,35: 1 letterbox or so ? Thanks in advance !
The AF was okay when I was using the lens to shoot this video. Sigma has released new firmware update for the Sigma 30mm and the focus seems to be better
Congrats on buying the X-S10! The Sigma 30mm has a focus ring and it's good to use it for video. The focus ring is smooth, and you can set it to linear manual focus in the camera for better control. However, if you are looking for smooth manual focus like a vintage lens, it's better to go for the Fuji 16mm and 23mm F1.4 (first gen) lens as there's a manual focus clutch in these two Fuji lenses that can really do smooth manual focus with distance scale readings.
I'm so worried they gonna be like viltrox 56mm when we doing some transition between objects, we need to rotate the focus ring all the way and feels like forever to the get the focus as desire. by the way thanx for your enlightenment and suggestions i will go with 16mm thanx a bunch Chris
@@shinigami1548 not sure about the update, but Sigma has released updates for other mounts of this lens, so I guess it's a matter of time for Sigma to release a firmware update for the Fuji X Mount
Exactly so . I fully agree with you , as a Fuji user . Fuji camera photos do not have a neutral tone character and they are more suitable for cinematic video shoots . Nikon , Canon and Sony cameras are far better still photo shooters , with Canon being the best among them , according to my likings .
Sony A7c, A6400 Panasonic GHm2 The AF that I felt as a person using both Fuji X-S10, It was Sony > Fuji > Panasonic There was no inconvenience in using the eye tracking function when taking pictures of people.

Thank you for uploading this video !
It will help me to make a decision to buy Sigma Lense !
Wonderfully done!!😊
thank you for watching!
Beautiful angle.!! You are always great~
Thank you for watching! I love making these cinematic videos!
Really nice video!!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful shots! Can't wait to get my hands on the X-S10!

@@movichris how about x-t3, i am a hybrid user, x-t4 a bit over my budget, now i am considering about x-s10 or x-t3 what would u recommend
Estoy maravillado
Simply beautiful, amazing job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for watching!!
amazing work!
So smooth! You have to try the new 23mm and 33 mm 1.4 lm wr🔥
Hopefully I can get these two new primes from Fujifilm! Have been looking to try these new f1.4 primes for video work!
Great!
Great footage!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for your video. It would be great if there's another video tutorial about how you edit the footage.
Nicely shot 👍
Thank you for watching!

Nice video!! btw is it true that there is no subject tracking in video mode?🤔
Nope, I use face/eye autofocus for tracking a person in video mode, which works pretty well, but don't expect it to be on par with Sony autofocus
Nice
Are yiu going to purchase the Fuji S 20
yes, I will be reviewing it, stay tuned!
FIRE )
Gooooood- Shot!! 😁👍 I'm curious about the slow motion settings of the X-S10.
I shot in FHD 59.94P with 200mbps on the X-S10, and slow it to 24fps in Premiere Pro
Ching 影得好有mood啊 呢到係邊!
你好啊!多謝支持!片中地點係南生圍, 嗰度好適合拍片影相!
Great video! What film emulation on filmconvert nitrate did you use on this bro? :)
How did you make this look cinematic? Really like the music as well. Thanks
nice video. I love your video a lot. but how do you put black bar on top and bottom? did you shoot on 17:9 then crop?
What about autofocus hunting? Did SIGMA fix it? There is no official firmware updates on their website for x-mount.
Hey Chris, how was the AF in video and photo for you using the sigma lens? Great video!
The AF was okay when I was using the lens to shoot this video. Sigma has released new firmware update for the Sigma 30mm and the focus seems to be better
nice what film sim did you use?
I use Eterna on the X-S10, and color graded with FilmConvert Nitrate using KD 5207 Vis3 and KD P400 Ptra
😍
hi Chris, just got my xs10, but stiil on searching for lens that fit for filmmaking.
is sigma 30mm have a right focus ring for mannual?

how was sigma 30mm af after updating new firmware?
The af is more responsive, especially when using AF-C in video on the X-H2S and X-T5.
@@movichris good to hear ...but what about its af performance in older cameras like your xs10 or xt4?
How is the autofocus of this lens? There were reviews saying it wasn't that good.
there's focus hunting issues for video. When using af-c and focusing between subjects back and forth, the focus hunting issue is obvious
@@movichris That's sad to hear. Many reviewers said that sigma might roll out some updates in the future. So no updates so far?

@@movichris wow, you are very noble. not stingy to share knowledge with other friends. God bless you always 😇😇😇🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey Chris. I absolutely love this. Can I ask, did you grade the f-log? I've heard mixed opinions about shooting f-log with 8 bit
Fuji looks not as sharp as other camera, more of a cinematic feel.
