I’ve seen William Tackett do it in a competition before, but he did it from bottom. Never seen someone sit to it from top before.
Sean Roberts used to do that one back in the day. He did it in an old sub only event for the team that shall not be named multiple times. It was all the rage for a while about 13 years ago. Time is a flat circle.

@@twanwaves2167 interesting - so the commentator was wrong when he said Knee Crush - I’ve gotten calf slicers/crushes from top of turtle and bottom half guard, but I had never heard of a knee crush/slicer - maybe it’s a matter of semantics when you’re closer to the knee joint, like a bicep slicer can slide to the inner elbow.
@ I wouldn’t say it’s wrong because it does crush the knee but I’d say everyone has a different name for the same move because

Well basically, drilling and more live wrestling and judo. Like an hour four days a week of just consistent take downs of his choice drilling. Doing this before doing Jiujitsu, sometimes what is best for business is not best for competitive Jiujitsu...... They have good training partners and everyone is working off each other on the matt in the dojo and academy and room .....
