Stalker anomaly modders trying to not connect to the hivemind to get ideas and somehow make all works compatible (Xray engine is tethering with the IRL noosphere somehow)

NOOOOOOOB :p Just kidding. Some of us have known about this for years. But in anomaly there is fast travel already so kind of no need for it.
The New Levels storyline added not only a great way to earn lots of cash early game (I think the quests are easy enough to finish before doing the Scorcher) and also some great weapons/armor from both Freedom and Duty by the end. It has an engaging even if simple story (with cinematics, which really shocked me) and really helps delay that boredom that tends to set in after Living Legend. Grimwoods is definitely my fav of the 3 new maps so far.
I'm so used to a lot of the QoL, guns, and smooth animation/camera mods in GAMMA at this point - even 10 or 20 of the essential mods are impossible for me to get to play nice with eachother on a fresh Anomaly install. Are there any modpacks that it plays nice with, or that it is included with?
I really want to play the new maps and quests, but really don't want to deal with the headache of creating a modlist on a fresh Anomaly install. Playing EFP and GAMMA the past couple years has gotten me so used to the smooth and refined gameplay, animations, sounds, QoL, etc. I remember fighting with the game for an entire summer trying to get QoL mods to work together without crashes lol

I've been using Frosty's mod for a few days now and it's fantastic. I really love the Autumn stuff in the most recent Gamma update, but Zone Reality really sets the mood.
Grass is a bit repetitive but it's really good.
I never commented on your previous video mentioning the Rostok window jump, but since you mentioned it again, I'll take the opportunity.
I've been playing Stalker since release, and have an inordinate amount of playtime altogether. I know a lot about the different areas, guns, factions, lore and so on. Still, somehow I never learned about that shortcut. Would have probably saved me a couple hours worth of playtime in total.
So yeah, you can add me to the list of people who were shocked to learn about it. I guess it's better late than never.

Good content, upvoted. The unanswered question I have for every mod is: will it be included in GAMMA or no? Not really interested if the answer is no. I guess you could call me a casual, but I have no intention of stepping outside the pristine playground that is the GAMMA modpack.
Speaking of mods that add new quests, have you seen the Brotherhood addon? It adds two major quest chains from the Butcher and some minor encounters.

Probably messing with another mod from GAMMA, you could probably get it to work, but I didn't have time to fix it.
@@nullmoxy No it's not compatible yet with Gamma, probably with the DLTX adaptation it will though
Oh man, does the fire pit mod reduction of light flicker improve general performance around lit fire pits?
i remember when call of chernobyl released and mayority thought "this is the peak of the engine" "it's too unstable to deal with more data"....
The thing that could improve alot the visuals witch is really hard since they are part of the world, are the threes

Though Mac10 come from UGP wep pack that contains a bit more "vintage" and less Tarkov-like stuff
Might check new levels later, hope it does not break my saves.
Simple GUI gives me strong Escape from Pripyat vibes. Just missing lootboxes for full experience.
5,56 rifles in Shadow of Chernobyl were amazing if you "arranged accidents" for those pesky Freedom gate guards with red barrels. Not suggesting anything, of course.
And that Bar window jump is familar for those who played ShoC - in some mods they won't let you do that tho.
is there any way to get a different drinking animations? It looks like he's pouring the drinks down his shirt.
bro can you add a quest / story line about a '' love story '' of your choosing ( saving someone or looking for someone etc ) , something more than just the zone survival .

I may be blind, but I can't seem to find where exactly in the GAMMA Discord to find (GAMMA specific) addons. Is there a specific channel for it somewhere that I'm just not seeing?
Make sure you get rid of the newcomer role by following the instructions to see the rest of the channels. Then try sending the link to yourself in discord and clicking it.

Does anybody know if getting coordinates to stashes on your level or a neighboring level is a gamma only feature? Or can I install it in EFP too? I’ve looked for the mod but couldn’t find it

I love Gamma, i just wish they would update the STALKER models to HD models i cant understand why its not in the modpack

if it is crashing when equipping a weapon, delete the script folder in the bizon mod

It's a good modpack if you like alot of guns with varying quality.
Why put the efp logo in the thumbnail when none of the mods are related to that modpack, or am i missing something?
All the mods prior to the GAMMA section will work with EFP
@@nullmoxy My EFP wont work even after removing these mods, its interfered with bas injector script and saying "get_real_community" in a box after the fatal error to desktop

cool mods, but they are only good for a few minutes. What Anomaly needs is a new storyline with different maps, new quests and etc. This is just uninteresting.
If GAMMA was stable and didn't crash to desktop constantly or lose settings during gameplay, this would be one of the top Stalker games. And I've played all the stalker games from the beginning: Shadow of Chernobyl, clear sky and Pripyat as well as the lost alpha mod. I've seen Tarkovsky's film STALKER and read the original inspiration for this game-Roadside Picnic. When you play Gamma, you will spend a LOT of time managing the mods, reloading after crashes, re-enabling settings that mysteriously disappear and other BS. If you like troubleshooting the many bugs and glitches that inevitably happen when 300+ mods are running at the same time on an unoptimized base game, then this is for you. If you just want to explore the world of the exclusion zone and enjoy the gameplay-Ain't Gonna Happen. You have been warned
