Join us for Franklin Tomorrow's monthly FrankTalks program to talk about the Emergency Medical Services provided by Williamson Health, held at Columbia State Community College on Monday, May 13th, 2024
Experience firsthand the innovative lifesaving technologies aboard Williamson Health ambulances, witness their seamless integration within the county and the 911 system, and learn about the new state-of-the-art Emergency Room.
On May 2, Williamson Health EMS along with other Williamson County first responder agencies were honored with two lifesaving awards at the 16th annual Star of Life ceremony hosted by the Children’s Emergency Care Alliance (CECA TN).
The first honor was the Region Five Star of Life Award given for the team's incredible response to a critical situation during which world-renowned musician, Phil Vassar, experienced a sudden cardiac arrest. The second award was the Outstanding Achievement in Maternal and Neonate Emergency Response Award for the responders' collective role in saving the lives of Kelly Moore and her newborn son, Easton.
Additionally, we're honored to host a representative from the American Heart Association who will enlighten the audience on the fundamental principles of CPR-empowering everyone with life-saving skills until help arrives. Also joining us will be Blood Assurance, the sole provider of blood products for Williamson Health.
