😳😳Plus 5 Jager extensions😱🤯😱🤯 headed to their website now. Also, thanks so much, JW for my G20, 10mm mill job! The fit of my 407c, finish, extra rear serration, rear site removal and relocation…. PURE EXCELLENCE!!!! You guys are the only company that will ever touch one of my “tools”
I’ve noticed with Glock mags that the plastic tabs that help lock baseplate in place wear down with repeated disassembly/cleaning. Generally not as issue since they also have a locking retainer. This obviously removes that retainer though, so do you see any issues with baseplate retention under repeated use/disassembly/cleaning?
The product looks well made and very cool but I’m just confused on why you you pay 45 bucks for an extension when you could just buy a higher capacity mag for cheaper?
I ordered two of them. They are a pain to remove and over time, I can see how this would damage/decrease the life of the bottom of the magazine due to removing and re-installing (I clean my magazines regularly). I wish I could send them back but I’ve already test fitted them. I put them back in the bags they came in and tossed them in my Glock parts drawer. TyrantCNC has better plus 5’s for Glock. They hold in place with a little numb that’s under spring retention. JagerWerks, they really look great but the system you have in place to hold it all together kinda sucks. I do have and am currently using your Glock +0 base plate on my EDC though.
@@planetcharlie3780 OH, are you looking for a +0 that is the size of the +5. As stated on the image, the extension is just shown for color. We only make +0 base plates, not extensions.
Have a really weird issue where I'm getting a lot of noise and wiggle from something in the magazine whenever I have 10 or more rounds, but the wiggle is only happening on even numbers. Any idea?
This is pretty common among most glock mag extensions I have some that do that around 18 and 22 but not in between. I've had some older manufacturers models that did it with a few less in the mag as well. Different aged magazines are affected differently as well. Sometimes it can be handled by giving it a smack, sometimes not. As far as we're aware it's normal and not detrimental.
@@jagerwerks yea. I realized the sound was actually the bullets wiggling back and forth. Laughed at myself for not realizing it sooner. I’ve run it through a few reloads and fires now flawlessly and love the extension. Definitely doesn’t seem to be anything that would be detrimental, just some slight noise
@@jagerwerks Realized this wiggle was happening because the spring or feed in the mag is getting stuck lower down and not applying pressure to the rounds. This has caused failure to feeds and the rounds going vertical and getting stuck in the mag. Definitely a concern and not something you would want to happen in a scenario where you need reliability. Any suggestions on fixes?
@@odinhawke How old is that magazine extension? It is possible depending that it is a pre-revision model and there aren't many but we can easily update it and it should take care of the issue. Email us.

Received my mag extensions little over a month ago very slick and well built, no issues with them so far
Love to hear it!
What about now?
how to remove the basepad? Thanks!
how do you guys do this? when i do it the spring gets in the way and i end up mauling the plastic

This was my worry as well. That’s why I got the SLR instead. You can just remove the back screw and put it back on.

Better purchase on the magazine when reloading, heavier mag helps the mag fall out of the gun when running reloads and looks better
