Wow… I can’t believe how sharp her mind was and how clearly she remembered things, not to mention how much younger than her age she looked. This is absolute gold, David. Thanks for posting!
I don't want to live past 80 because I fear a degenerating body and a dimming mind. Seeing her so sharp and lucid at her age makes me less anxious, but there are no guarantees in life even if one maintains healthy habits like a good diet and lots of exercise.
My grandmother passed 3 weeks shy of her 107th birthday, in March 2018. 💞 She's my hero and I miss her EVERY day. She was the most beautiful, most loving human I have ever known. 💞
This is lovely. I worked with a Russian who fled 3 countries in his lifetime. He is in Australia now with nothing at 60 + years old. Many of my colleagues would complain about silly little things. He was so grateful for freedom he complained about nothing. I learned many good things from him. On another note. I watched a video last night on here about a 91 year old training fitness to others. She is incredibly strong and fit, happy with joy a plenty.

What a lovely person, wearing a glorious blouse. I’m so glad she is doing well. A dear friend born in 1920, passed this year. I am blessed to have known her. She had a touch of this lady’s glow! My friend was a full generation older than me, and I miss her. She was something else - she worked until she was 93 using a monitor and keyboard, a Mac Mini, a fax machine, and her home phone! She followed up on late-paying clients of the specialty steel company that she’d worked for decades after her husband passed away. I am sure my friend was terrific getting these clients to pay up! Bess, I do miss you- I am so grateful I knew you. 😢😢😢

Sheer speculation on my part, but I suspect we who were born, raised and started livelihoods in the 20th century have far more interesting life stories than those of the 21st century will have. Good interview, David. Thank you for sharing.
The youth need to hear these wonderful stories to learn the value of life. It's a blessing to hear this beautiful woman's life story. I wish I could hear more.
I needed to see this right now. I have a ton of problems right now "we all have problems, don't let it take the joy out of living..." That will be my new mantra, Mr Hoffman! Every time I start to feel down about my situation, I will say that to myself. "Love of humanity, care for those that have less than you..." That one too. I lost everything in less than a month. But, I still have my little son who I love more than my own life. It's easy for people to get off track because the pain can be so much some times. Thanks again Mr. Hoffman! You are a great person.
