What strength of Magnet are you using? Last year after watching a lot of Magnet Fishing video, I decided to invest in a Magnet and Rope so my man and I could do some Magnet Fishing sense we live around a lot of cool waterways. I was just wondering if there is a strength of Magnets that work best for you guys? We live in the Pacific NW, and we are literally surrounded by some Awesome waterways. Its a New Hobby for us. Thanks for sharing your Adventures with us.

The strange hook that was on the wheel with the pole in it is a meat hook from over 40 years ago, It would hang in a refrigerated truck trailer and beef halves and quarters would hang from them for delivery to the grocery store butcher departments. Neat find!

9:30 Tyler, you were correct in that it actually WAS used for spearing fish! Every winter Green Bay/Oshkosh/Fon du Lac have a big ice fishing contest on Lake Winnebago for Sturgeon. They chop these big rectangular holes in the ice, I think it’s like 2x3, get drunk, (that’s the Wisconsin tradition) and try to spear a sturgeon.

That's used for gigging & is legal during certain periods of the year for frogs & some other things in different states.
Gigging is the practice of hunting fish or small game with a gig or similar multi-pronged spear. Commonly harvested wildlife include freshwater suckers, saltwater flounder, and small game, such as frogs. A gig can refer to any long pole which has been tipped with a multi-pronged spear. So the big bowl looks like a old metal wash basin, the door handle, wonder if antique, the gun was cool and that decorative piece could be the back off of a chair, would sandblast, pain and hang on outside of house, the item you found that could be used for umbrella stand is cool, so many great things at this location. Obviously old businesses used this as dumping ground. Will say again, go to library or local aged home as someone knows what this area looked like, maybe 100yrs ago. Loved these videos at this location, could make 50 more and still find things, but you must go after the skidoo

I love seeing all the "stuff" you pull in from the water; what a variety! It was also great that you would put the item (in it's original and sellable condition) on the screen for comparison! Nice touch! And, although it angers me to see what items certain (piggy) people have the audacity to put in our beautiful rivers, lakes, etc., it does my heart good to see all of the stuff you take away, cleaning up our water, one nasty piece at a time (or more when you get the whole junkyard at a time clinging to your magnet!). Man, some of those throws bring in so many pieces at one time! Great video! Wow!😃
