"Complicated Shadows" is a song from another stylistic end of the compositional spectrum that can be found on Costello's 1996 album "All This Useless Beauty". Here's a live rendition recorded on June 18 of that year for the BBC programme "Later With Jools Holland" - enjoy!
p.s. A great moment when Elvis winks an eye at Bruce Thomas after coming in with the first notes on his bass. And then there's the nod to the Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash" in the fortissimo passages.
