Excellent demo and discussion of this Taylor innovation. Always the best acoustic reviews from PN; Teja and Scott put these instruments through their paces.
I have now watched several demos of this Taylor model with V bracing and despite the differences in players and in recording arrangements to me they all sound quite clearly different from other acoustic guitars .... they sound better! Stunning! I don't think I have ever heard demonstrations of a supposed improvement, where that improvement is so clearly apparent.
outstanding guitar, have watched several demos online including comparisons with the 914ce. Clarity yes. way more presence than the 9. Great demo too. Not familiar with Koa as a body material. How does the Koa rank compared to East Indian ROsewood relative to longevity i.e. is it a softer or weaker wood, will it age more slowly etc.?
LOVE IT. Love it so much. The only thing I’d want that I can think of at this point is locking tuners. Maybe a battery health indicator if it doesn’t already have it. I know I’m being picky. This guitar is so damn awesome.
what string gauge is used , string gauge is normally never mentioned just wondering why on acoustic guitar reviews , but great looking guitar ......Thx

the best explanation of the 'technology' that didn't sound like a commercial from Taylor - thanks!
Very nice Teja!!!!!

Yes it does sound very nice indeed
Sounds like a very good Taylor.

I recognize parts of that first song from my Sonny Rollins "Saxophone Colossus" album. Nice!

Looks interesting. Wonder if they make one with more bling on it.
They do make ones with more bling for 10k

One of the most breathtaking guitars i’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, i’d feel scared to touch it.
Great version of “St Thomas” at the start. Sonny Rollins would be happy.
These instruments do sound almost unique in their projection and balance.
Not standard tuning. Thats why it sounds good.
not enough mids for me sorry, my larivee hog does it for me
