Afraid of the outside world, my bedroom became my whole world. I lived alone, I convinced myself. Everything in these lyrics are very reminiscent of the situation I existed in at that point. So as a lonely message to any who would read it, please escape somehow. I know it can be hard, cuz god damn it was for me. But know that there's hope, there's always a brighter future ahead. Stay strong and live, kids. Talk to someone, there are good people in the world, too.

I spent four years after high school almost completely alone and never left the house unless i was with someone and that was rare. Eventually i moved out, im in college now and working a part time job. Yes its hard and the world can be a scary and difficult place but its also beautiful and full of possibilities. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who has been in isolation to get out, live and be free.

I think its because her natural voice is husky-deeper sound. I’ve heard lots of other tunings where she sounds much lighter and higher pitches
