Awesome... The trail and rock formations are really nice. Super fun to see the ski resort. The snow has been up and down in Michigan as well... Great information along the way... Thanks... Great Work 😊

Yes, I didn't know about that trail. I liked the boulders and bushwacking. Must be fantastic to hike when there's plenty of snow. You certainly can find the trails to hike around

Thanks for posting this. I have been through this area a number of times but never had the guts to do the full loop up the mountain through the ski area. I've been very curious about it though and appreciate the look around and hike! Spring Mountain is interesting to me because of the way it stands out over the surrounding landscape. Awesome rock formations, I feel like this is one of those spots that has a few secrets, that are well hidden ...

You're quite welcome, Walter. You know, now that you say that, I would be curious as to what secrets it might hold. Maybe a summer hike might illuminate a few things? Thanks for watching and supporting us!

The next day, it snowed about 2-3 inches and about a week or so later, about 3-4 inches. Now the warmer weather and rain are making it difficult for the skiers and certainly difficult for the ski operators. Thanks for stopping by!

Looks like a good trail. Nice to get going on that paved trail and then start climbing into the woods and near those rocks. Neat to see the ski area. I've never tried skiing, although I think I'd like to try cross country skiing.

I'm not a paved trail kinda guy, so it was nice to bumble around in the woods. Cross country skiing sounds nice and maybe a little safer than going down a hill. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Love parking there and going towards Spring Mount. Did that unmarked trail once to the chair lifts at the Ski area...great views up there!

You are correct! Beautiful! On a side note, we just visited Opalanie Park today. It was muddy in some spots as expected, but we enjoyed the walk.

First thing I noticed was the gray backpack. Is that new? Cool Halloween attractions. If they were mine I’d be too scared to leave them out for kids to destroy. The ski area was a surprise to me when you were in it. This is a place I have never been before. I think I enjoyed the giant boulder area the best. I bet there’s lots of rattle snakes hidden in there when the weather is nice. Happy hiking. 👍

      Hi Craig,
The backpack is new but purchased about six months ago. It cost about thirty dollars after using some card issued from my workplace for health related items. It's a forty-five liter Quest from Docks Sporting Goods. I got it for eventually through hiking. Anyway, I am glad that you found so many things to enjoy on this excursion, and thanks for mentioning rattlesnakes. That I am sure is the last time we do that.😂

Thanks for watching and commenting! I hope you enjoy your time here, and if I can think of some noteworthy places, I will pass them on. My favorite place is always gonna be Birdsboro, but because of the camping, you might enjoy Green Lane or French Creek.
