Those lists of top 10 richest and top 10 poorest were pretty much the same before 2016. After 40+ years in the EU, all our industry was destroyed. With no trade or other barriers inside the EU, Britain's industry was wiped out by EU (mainly German) industry. Plus globalism has seen many jobs shift to India and China. With mass uncontrolled immigration putting even more strain on benefits, Britain's complete collapse is just around the corner. Taxes will rise sharply under Labour and that means more people will just stop working - British people will not pay 60% Jizya tax to fund African and Islamic immigrant rioting. Government borrowing will have to stop soon because Britain is already at the limit of the debt it can service.

I remember when poor meant that people had a hard time getting food each day. Today it apparently means not living in luxury.

Need to define what is meant by liberal. Think radical progressive liberal, rather than classical liberal. Both very different, and one of the reasons why it's so hard to pin down the real culprits.
No. Liberalism I define as going all the way back to French Revolution and Enlightenment thought, and classical liberals are just as bad as modern liberals, because the ideology itself going all the way back to the enlightenment is based on rights and freedoms, compared to responsibility.
Talk to any right wing classical liberal. You'll see all they really care about is their own rights and freedoms. That will still mean societal suicide, because you then have no obligations to your wider community.
@@norffcinvesting Liberalism has really become a term very much in the realm of double speak. I agree with what you say, in that the rot goes back to the post enlightenment period. Classical liberalism is indeed all about the individual. Modern forms of liberalism are more about collectives - totally different things! Problem is, if I declare that I'm anti Liberal, I will be instantly be jumped on by people who don't understand that liberal can mean different things. I'd be seen by many as no better than a nzi. I could say anti woke, but that doesn't really get the point across. I used to say that liberalism was one of the main causes of our problems, as you indicate in the video, but soon realised there is need for a better definition. People often virtue signal by declaring themselves liberal, without any real knowledge of the meaning. I get your point in the video, and do agree. It's just the term liberal. Now I say, I'm anti progressive liberal, people usually don't compute, but at least it generates discussion rather than shutdown.

parts of romania and ukraine are much poorer than even the worst parts of the UK, this list can't be right.
Remember that poverty isn't always obvious. See my "Live like a poor person" video for more details on this, but in general the takeaway is that people who look rich can actually be very poor.
I suspect those parts of Romania and Ukraine, unless they are under serf feudalism, are richer because Romanian farmers etc... still own their land as family assets that are inherited down to them. England has relied on factory labour from a boss. Once that boss throws you out on your ass, you have nothing.
