  • "The Singing Nun" by Debbie Reynolds. It is a soundtrack album that was released in 1966 by MGM Records. The album features Reynolds' renditions of songs from the eponymous movie, which was based on the true story of a Belgian nun named Jeanine Deckers who became a chart-topping singer under the name Soeur Sourire (Sister Smile).
The movie and the soundtrack were both popular in their time, with Reynolds' performances of songs like "Dominique" and "Sister Adele" becoming hits. The soundtrack also includes instrumental tracks from the film's score, which was composed by Harry Sukman.
Debbie Reynolds was a popular actress and singer in the 1950s and 1960s, with roles in movies like "Singin' in the Rain" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." She had a successful career in both film and music, and her performance on "The Singing Nun" soundtrack is a testament to her talent as a singer.
MGM Records was a major record label in the mid-20th century, and it released many popular albums by artists in a variety of genres. "The Singing Nun" was just one of the many successful soundtrack albums that the label released during its heyday.

I’ve been watching this movie and listening to this music practically my whole life. We used to have the album and I was trying to find it on a CD. Thankfully I was able to find it here on UA-cam and play it for my sister. She likes the French version which she can sing along to.

I love this soundtrack, this record was played often and it sounds like it. I don't know why people post these inferior records when other people have posted clean recordings?

@@sweetwilly I took really good care of my records and only bought diamond needles so even when I play records on my turntable they don't have that low record player quality. When someone else has already posted a clean recording of the songs from a record I don't understand why someone else posts an inferior recording? It would be like me recording Gone With The Wind from my TV in black and white and posting it. What's the point?

The word sin means to "miss the mark".
      In other words,
      not be equal to God.
When you have an archery contest and someone misses the target, score keeper calls "SIN!"
They committed suicide by taking a large amount of Barbiturates.
      She died slowly.
I hope and pray long enough for them to reach out to Jesus. and for Him to save them like Jesus saved the thief on the cross.
Please remember 'Sister Smile' for God's love that Sister Smile spread through her music and her work with the autistic children.
Satan wants us to judge people and point out their flaws.
      I have many...
By the blood of Jesus, our Heavenly Father sees me,
      and you,
      perfectly clean.❤️
If you wanna know any truth,
      Ask our Heavenly Father.
