Didn't realise Josh Brolin was so into Identity Management. Is there anything this man can't do ;-) Very informative and to the point.
Love your training videos. I learned a lot regarding BIG-IP F5. Thanks
Thanks a lot! Glad it helped and we appreciate the comment!! (this is Peter, BTW) :-)

When using the Web Portal feature, does the HTTPS traffic to the internal resource get Proxied by the APM, or does the external user get direct access to the internal application server? I.e. what's the source IP address in the packet from the APM to the internal application server once the external user is authenticated? The APMs internal address, or the external user's IP address?
Hi Merv. Thanks for the note. Since BIG-IP is a full proxy, it'll be APM proxying the connection from the client to the internal server. You can configure it to allow an encrypted pass-thru but default is client TCP to APM and a separate TCP from APM to server. Here's the chapter on Portal Access. techdocs.f5.com/en-us/bigip-15-1-0/big-ip-access-policy-manager-portal-access/overview-of-portal-access.html
The draw panel is so cool. Where can I buy it?
